Hi. If you mean the black bezel on the gold 100, you are correct that it is not metal.

just received the adapter with the PVD bracelet for my gst s300. do you have any video on sizing the bracelet?

no, but look at back side of bracelet to find the arrow deboss. the arrow shows the direction that the link pin is inserted into the link. to remove link pin, use tip of springbar tool and push the pin outward from the link in the direction opposite the arrow is pointing. if springbar tool is insufficient for you to push pin out, you may have to obtain watch bracelet pin removal tool. there are many videos here in YT about how to use one of those. for me, the springbar tool is usually all I need but not all of the pins come out so easily.

Is it normal for the black gsteel bezel coating to get scratch and turn to silver? How can i coat it back to black?

Hey Tee. Unfortunately, yes. Which model number do you have? Some of my BULLBARS fit certain models of GSteel so maybe you want to consider that. About recoating, I have not tried to recoat one of the GSteel bezels so I haven't any personal experience but my idea would be to try use Cerakote on it. Ultimately, the coating is only as good as the hardness of the underlying metal so if whatever it was that crashed against your watch was a material hard enough to gouge the metal, then you will see the scar. You could consider to buy a replacement bezel also as another option. Either way, if you give removing the bezel a try, I think you will find that they are not difficult to remove and replace.

Casio makes questionable design choices all the time. Why didn't they use screw bars with this design? It's probably good that they didn't since now amazfit can legally use this design with screw bars on their t-rex gps watch. Why don't casio use gorilla grass 3 on their budget watches. The regular mineral glass scratch easy.

what is 27 euro? either way, your preference is yours. many folks are very dissatisfied with the OEM straps due to discomfort... the most common complaint about Gshocks by far.
