This is what stopped me from playing and recording with EZDrummer 2 I couldn’t change time signatures. I did some research and couldn’t find anything in changing time signature’s in my songs. So hopefully I can just upgrade to this, and write whatever I want! Nice!

👍👍👍 Yeah? it's a good tutorial. But this tempo edit works when you create the drums session separately. But how to link it with host tempo??? I have a project in my DAW with few instruments, but a tempo of midi copied to SD3 in 1 point slows down. I have created the edit point with tempo increasing but it works when the "follow host" button is off but in this case Superior does not play together with host? it paused. If you link the Superior with host it follows to host tempo and all your edit unusable...

Hey Danny, sorry for the late response. You need to set the tempo in SD3, then it will automatically follow the tempo of the original song, if I remember correctly. You might wanna check the owner‘s manual of SD3, they explain everything in very detail there.

Hi Danny, did you see my video about setting up the HiHat correctly with SD3? In the beginning of this video I briefly touch the topic of how to configure the pads to get a more realistic response. If this issue occurs, it’s more likely to be adressed in the module than in SD3. Even though a „realistic response“ might differ as it’s rather subjective.

Toll erklärt, dass Problem ist nur, dass Cubase diese Einstellungen leider nicht übernimmt und sobald die Midispur in Cubase gezogen wird, die Tempoeinstellungen nicht mitübernommen werden. Wie soll man einen Track rendern wenn die Einstellungen nicht übernommen werden... Mega frustrierend.

Hello, I have a question. I record a drum midi here but didn't use the tempo because I play along with a music to its own tempo without setting my tempo in Superior Drummer. But when I change back the tempo in there, the midi changed the tempo too and became faster. How can I just change the tempo without affecting the midi here ?

Hah! Was looking for this and you posted it just the other day apparently :D As I understand you can only do it to a pattern, but not in the middle of the pattern? That's a shame. Too bad MIDI file's can't hold time signature data, then I could just export it from FL studio cleanly.

When you change the tempo like this, then later on drag the project into Reaper, will the set tempo in Reaper affect your SD3 track?

If you disable the „Follow host“ setting in SD3, it will keep the tempo you have set before.

This is the most unintuitive software on the planet. why the fuck doesn't it just read the global tempo from the daw? so annoying.
