f I recall correctly, in SD1 or EZD1, there was a humanize dial/button that automated humanization entirely, taking into account the signature, tempo, beats, and half beats, so the accents wouldn’t be distorted by the changes. The outcome was quite good. I have some MIDI grooves that are completely straight, and I just tried searching for a humanize option in my SD3 and EZD3 but can’t find it. Did they remove it?

First, after hours and hours of searching for precise in depth answers regarding EZX loading in SD3, this tutorial demystified the entire concern (well almost). Truly well done, candid and in depth. I've been buying only SDX in fear of losing features with an SDX kit. That's apparently not so according to this tutorial and I can confirm after now just buying an EDX. I would like to mention in looking at the EZX 1930s Broadway Kit and the Ballroom Swing Kit, it's only a 2 gig download for the EZX where as the SDX Decades is 99 gig which has only has 3 other kits. Thus if 2 kits = 2 gig then 5 kits which the Decades SDX has would be 5 gig or close to that number. If known, what is going on then with the other 94 gig in the Decades SDX? That's 50 times more software / sound samples in the SDX.

Watching this in 2024 wondering if I should get it.

👍👍👍 Yeah? it's a good tutorial. But this tempo edit works when you create the drums session separately. But how to link it with host tempo??? I have a project in my DAW with few instruments, but a tempo of midi copied to SD3 in 1 point slows down. I have created the edit point with tempo increasing but it works when the "follow host" button is off but in this case Superior does not play together with host? it paused. If you link the Superior with host it follows to host tempo and all your edit unusable...

I bought this thinking the Kicks and Snares could be added to any existing Kits i have... cant see a way of doing this 🤷🏻‍♂️
