I did exactly same things but its not changing the text globally into ARIAL, i get optchdrop command which ask me to select amongst textstyle, dimstyle, tablestyle, mlstyle. Then when i select textstyle it asks me font, i typed arial, then it shows that text style not found. I have to submit my drawings and need urgent solution to this, please revert

Hi Urmil i have 2 solutions for your issue. 1st. make sure arial is a text style, and not a font type. to test this, select a text from any previous drawing(this would be the text you want your entire drawing to match) and type PR+enter to open properties palette. scroll down and make sure under "style" arial shows. if it doesn't show, arial is not a textstyle.

But now after i have changed everything to arial some texts look thin whereas some look bit bold and it is very difficult to find each text and edit it, its not coming as uniform and standardized as its shown in your video, can you please help?

Yohanes Welcome to the team! You can right click, edit block, select attribute text, change text style font from property palette, close and save block editor, use battman command to update your attribute block text on your entire drawing. By the way where are you from?

@@yohaneswjy i would select a tribute blocks, right click, select similar, use burst command to explode all attribute blocks and leave their content text as is, then use my autochangestyle command to change all text style in your drawing. Does this make sense?

hi Marie, 2 reasons may be the issue. 1, are those titles attributes or blocks? 2, are those titles overwritten?

I don't know - I'm using AutoCAD 2007 and even when I have the text style and dimension style uploaded, I use the command and the first click it reopens CUI, and then the next click it freezes up my AutoCAD screen and alternates between ALL and OPTHATCH or whatever you call it. Do I need to save the drawing before doing this?

@@LazyArquitecto Hello, for some reason the 1st time I use it - it opens CUI. The 2nd time I use it - says invalid point. The 3rd time I use it, it selects all and then freezes. The following text style "PrettyGood" is in the design center option and shows in the drop-down menu in the drawing. I cannot seem to drag the icon anywhere except for the Tool Palette. The "update" dimension feature is a possible alternative if it's not the whole drawing though. I'm not sure if it's the right-click customization or what. I tried what you had asked about the Macro. Thanks in advance.

@@davidbennett8126 hi david, sorry for the late response. I was trying to figure it out. I found your problem. the command OPTCHPROP was created In AutoCAD since version 2009. Since you are using Autocad 2007, the macro is giving an error. sorry about that. Does this make sense?

Then the layout,different size and style of txt at different layers,how should i convert into same size and style? The font needs to exist in the drawing. Copy one text from other drawing then try again

Lazy Arquitecto hey thanks for the reply. Im egyptian based in UAE. I attempted to make a custom demand like you showed here using the textedit command, tried following the sane syntax of commandname;;ALL;; etc but it didnt work as inassume thats not how that command’s macro works. Ild be looking forward to your video but i do need this urgently for a current project if you could give me tips ild appreciate it. Also text style and font are different. I had issues where the text style changed but the font didnt.. if that makes sense?... couldnt use your command to ensure font changed.. so thats two issues. Font and size

Peter Louis as a quick trick i would isolate by Entity all text using kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6CklolsqbZ2oM0 then select text and change size and font from property palette, at least till i released the new command to change it automatically.

Hello sir. I'm so pleased to know there is someone like you who do tutorials for a archstyle in Autocad. I'm so fond of using this kind of text style whenever I do manual drawings even before as an Architecture student and now as a practicing architect. It really baffles me how to apply it in my cad drawings. All I thought is that it's just a Stylus BT font that is being modified but now I know otherwise. Sorry but I can't thoroughly get your explanation. I find hard to understand.😁 Do I need to create each letter one by one before I export? I understand your problem now. Some of Your text are overwritten. This means someone got inside the text and changed properties there (never do this) now you have to fix each text individually. Ill have to create an automatic way to fix all overwritten text in a drawing. Turn your notification bell on so you dont miss that video.

Text styles need to be implemented text styles doesnt equal FONTS . Go to annotate menu and add a text style
