If the air filter is not fitted in the correct position (with the 3 flanged ok) will the front part fit? (the duct for ram air). If forgotten to check it...

it has been so long since I have done this job, that I don't remember it. When in doubt, take it apart and check.

Thanks for the video will aid me in carrying out my maintenance. A quick question relating to the s1000R brakes how much lever travel do you get before the front brakes bite ? I ask as I find mine biting late in the lever travel and have already bleed the system. Thanks

by comparison with my 2006 gsxr, the travel on the S1000R is very small, would say that as soon as i apply pressure to the lever it is starting to brake. You can even hear the brake pads hissing as they get in contact.

@@BestCarMods thanks for the reply, as a mechanically minded person any suggestions as to what my issue might be as have already bleed the system and replaced al brake fluid? I assume it’s not the master cylinder as I would have thought that if it was failing you would just have no brakes
