How to change the backset of an older entry latch

This video shows how to change the backset of an entry latch so it will be centered in the borehole in the door. This applies to door knobs, levers, and handlesets for many brands of door hardware. This does not apply to the new Defiant Dual Backset Latch, Kwikset Latch, or Certain Schlage latches.
