@danielboyd11865 жыл бұрын
The one below the glovebox. Theres a plastic cover with three 7mmscrews that will allow you to see it. The screw on the far left of the panel you take off will be really close to the actuator. That actuator controls where the air is diverted to. Once you are able to see it turn your key and supply power and you should be able to hear and watch it move.
@cholochedd67525 жыл бұрын
Daniel Boyd what controls the coolant to flow through the heater core? I feel like it’s shut off. I took off the hoses to see if it was clogged and it is not clogged but the left hose is still not getting hot only the right hose is warm that goes to core. Most vehicle have a valve that closes it when air conditioner is on do you know how the Duramax Trucks work? Does the metal heater tube have anything to do with it mine had a crack so I removed it and put just a rubber hose for now. I just picked up the metal heater hose that is located on passenger side but have yet not installed it. Also befor when I’d have the heater on my A/C compressor use to cycle on and off and now it just stays off even if I have the air conditioner on. This is driving me crazy cuz all it does is blow cold air out the vents. Do you think I have to get a new heater control and low compression valve that’s on the confessor ? Someone please help

I hate to tell you but you can change that actuator from the bottom in about 15 minutes. You don't have to go through the dash. You go from the bottom. It is VERY easy. Look at other videos on KZbin.

Where is the driver side located? Do I have to cut up my truck to get to it?

@@joshtonry4291 It's right next to the floor... Remove that long plastic piece that's got curves in it next to the floor. There are four screws... Its right below the one he just showed you, but you access it from the bottom of the dash and not the top..
