Hi sir questiom pwedi po bang dagdagan lang? Kasi nag bleed kasi kame sir kasi nag expand yung drum brake at di ko na maibalik "cleaning" so we did bleed it to go back to its original form. Tapos umiilaw na lagi ung handbrake logo sa dashboard. Pagtingin ko sir sa brake fluid. Nasa baba na ng minimum

every two years, you need to replace the brake fluid and bleed the system. if you are just replenishing the fluid (less than two years), no need po to bleed the brake system.

nawawalan po ng bisa yung lumang brake fluid over time. kaya dapat po we need to put new brake fluid sa reservoir and push the old fluid out every two years.

@@dudong6432 yup, may hanging na nakapasok. open and shut lang ng bleeder valve/s then pump the brake pedal uli. try to recall kung anong side ng gulong matagal nakabukas yung bleeder valve. chances are yung ang cause ng issue and that's the one you need to open and shut.

as a newbie I dont understand the logic of going first rear right wheel then left etc. may you explain some reasons for that. Why not doing all the same time? why not drain all why kept minimum. what is the difference between the old and new break oil. I dont see any difference on the videos. Mixing old and new why would you want to do that? Basically I want some logic behind it and not just follow 1 2 3 steps.

i saw a vid tutorial of "toyota time with timmy the toolman" where he was quoting and showing a repair service manual re brake bleeding procedures for a toyota 4runner. i take it that it applies to all toyota vehicles:)

you can do all four at the same time if you have four bleeding kits and assistants to help you in refilling the brake fluid, pump the brake pedals, and open and shut the bleeder valve:)

brake bleeding is done in this sequence to eliminate air trapped in the branches of the tubes. by pushing it out furthest first, air is pushed to that channel until only fluid remains. after making sure there are no more bubbles coming out of the bleeder kit and closing the bleeder valve, only fluid is present in that branch, therefore, air cannot be pressed towards it. as for draining totally before refilling, it is best to keep the brake lines under pressure to flush out gunk and other contaminants while bleeding. pressure brake bleeding is also an option but requires special tools, plus not all brake master reservoir caps are designed for it. also this is a DIY brake bleeding technique.

Jason Cortez you may need to watch the video po uli:) kase kung nakapag-bleed na kayo ng kahit isang gulong at nai-pumped yung brake pedal, bababa yung brake fluid level sa reservoir so you can replenish it with new brake fluid.
