hi lloyd, you can try cleaning the throttle body plate inside and out. is this a unique issue with your innova's model? I suggest you ask other 2006 Innova users as well sa mga fb social clubs. baka lang some already went through the same issues and they can recommend a fix for your unit.

Sir...patulong po. Kasi kapapa change oil ko lang at pinalitan ang filters sa car engine at aircon. Pero napansin ko na pag nag start ako ng engine...may naamoy akong carbon sa loob ng kotse lalu kung hindi naka on ang aircon. Saan po kaya nanggagaling iyon at ano ang pwedeng gagawin para mawala. Ty po sa pagsagot.

I suggest po na ibalik nyo where you had the oil change and ac filter replacement. tell them the issue so they can trace on their end kung bakit may carbon na amoy. Maybe they spayed the vents with something na nagreact sa cold air coming from the evaporator. Check nyo din kung bago talaga na filters yung kinabit sa a/c and engine.

Another trick for folks to consider... By now (2022) many people/families are probably into their 2nd or 3rd powered toothbrush handle, and don't know what to do with the phased-out old ones. That would be a great tool to keep around, to brush/clean these type of components. (Also using phased out toothbrush heads) 😁

Dear son, I have swift car. When the AC is switched on, the pick-up lowers down. Till now the car has run near about 80,000 kms.AC compressor is ok, all Spark plugs are changed and new spark plugs are fitted,all coils are ok, throttle body cleaning done. flow of petrol is ok. Sir, ask ko lang. Ang problema ko kase sa wigo ko (2017) model din, is pag napasabak ako sa malakas na ulan, tapos medyo may mga puddle of water (not necessarily baha) nakakaexperience ako ng check engine. Nakakatakbo pa rin naman pero yun eco light di na gumagana. What I usually do is di ko gagamitin ang unit for say 2 days, tapos bilad sa araw, then nawawala lang sya ng kusa. I was thinking na baka may kinalaman sa oxy sensor yung problem ko kase nawawala din yung eco indicator ko. Tama po ba?

Hi. As long as you are not getting a check engine warning lights on the dashboard due to the O2 sensors, your unit is fine. If the eco mode setting is turned "ON", it is thr Wigo's computer that decides when the eco mode lights would turn on or off. Trust na lang your unit's computer that it knows what it's doing:) I hope this would give you peace of mind.

Lodi Kanina ko pa hinihinatay to pagkapost mo sa fb. Sakto kasi nasa CASA ako kanina pinascan ko kasi 1 month na naka check engine. tapos suggest nila Oxygen Sensor 2 replacement na daw dahil pundi na. Wigo 2019 model ko Sir Lodi under warranty gusto ko sana i DIY baka masayang warranty ko. Sayang kasi 11k huhu. Hindi raw cover ng warranty dahil nilusong sa baha. Half gutter lang naman yung baha lodi. Agad agad bang masisira ang sensor pag ganon?

meron yata sa Alibaba na wigo O2 sensor na mas mura. check mo yung part code for your unit. baka makatipid ka ng sobra although parang up to one month ang delivery. naglog in ako sa Lazada indonesia when doing some research. mga 3k philippine peso ang O2 sensor ng ayla. sadly, they don't deliver sa pinas:(

Same problem sa akin sir naka ilang beses din ako pabalikbalik sa dealer at claim for warranty kasi kahit konteng talsik lang ng tubig ulan umiilaw na check engine ginawa na lng po as remedy is yung wire harness ng Sensor 2 Post Cat sineal po ng Casa Tech pati na rin ang wire mismo na nakakabit sa sensor. Hi, Sir I am using Gen 1 with upstream and downstream oxygen sensors. Napansin ko po same din sila ng pin(connectors for both up and down) pero magkaiba po ng part number... BZ390 po sa taas then BZ400 po sa baba.. pero as in same connector. i suggest ipa- OBD scan nyo po yung unit. pero kung hindi naman nagtutuloy-tuloy yung check engine warning lights it means nawawala ang trouble code which is a good thing. baka may nababasa lang sa ilalim like the sensor, etc.

Hello po sir allan good day tanong ko lang sana if may idea kayo kung ano ang deperensya ng wigo 2017 E manual unit ko po kasi kapag aapak na ako sa gas may vibrations ang sasakyan pati manobela at shift stick pero nawawala na kapag nakalampas na ng 2000rpm. at parang may rattling noise sa ilalim ng sasakyan di ko malaman san galing yung noise. Na check ko na po mga engine support okay naman po wala pang problema pati mga spark plugs ko. Thank you po in advance sa reply nyo po.

one possible cause is the transmission. ATM ba gamit mo? ano na ang mileage and nagpalit ka na ba ng transmission fluid? pacheck mo din yung mga gulo baka out of balance na and check the brake system as well.

There are no cleaning solutions that you can add in the gas tank that would clean the oxygen sensors. There are chemicals that you can add to the gas to somewhat clean the fuel injectors, but there's none for O2 sensors:)

First you demonstrated that you didn't you didn't have a check engine light by removing and installing you knew clean O2 sensor you did it see if your engine showed a warning sign or not do you have to go through a drive cycle before you can do that but of course previously you didn't have a check engine light so it wouldn't show anything

Sir Allan, ung wigo po nmin nagcheck engine. Pina scan po nmin O2 sensor pre-cat B1S1. Nireset nya po error code. Pero advise ng mekaniko palitan n P9k po parts sa toyota. Possible daw magdamay ng ibang parts pag sira talaga. Tinest drive nmin, hndi nman po bumalik ilaw khit naitakbo n nmin ng 90 km. Ok lang po b ginawa nmin hndi muna pinareplace? kung bumalik po uli yung check engine warning light and ang source ng issue ay yung b1s1 pa din, palitan nyo na po yung sensor 1. pero kung hindi na bumalik, no need na palitan for now. kung walang error code, hindi naman maapektuhan in a bad way yung fuel efficiency ng sasakyan.

kung wala namang check engine warning sa dashboard, ok lang kahit wala kang scan tool. pms mo na diretsyo ang o2 sensors.

i suggest that you delete the O2 trouble code first using an OBD 2 scanner then clean and reinstall the sensor. if the code would show up again even though it did not get wet, it means a replacement part is needed. just don't replace the post-cat sensor too soon, especially if the unit is fairly new (one to five years). the sensor 1 is more important than sensor 2.

walang interval recommend ang manual, pero every 40 to 50k kms would be reasonable:)
