Excellent and very detailed video. Can you please make one showing how to tension the transmision chain?

Hi, thanks for the video, how often should this operation be done?
@3ftDeepChannelАй бұрын
It depends on your machine. Probably every 3 years, but check your Owner’s Manual. It will say in there.

Very detailed video, do i really need to drain the resorvoir tank or just the drain bolt and fill the radiator with fresh new coolant and only top up resorvoir
@3ftDeepChannel5 ай бұрын
Well, you should get out as much of the old fluid as possible. The more you get out, the more effective (and less corrosive) your coolant will be.

Thank you for the video, i have only a question about the expansion tank, when do you drain the coolant fluid also the expansion thank became empty or i need to do something, thank you so much
@3ftDeepChannel4 ай бұрын
If you have the same model and year, follow the same procedure as I show as this is following the instructions in the service manual (i.e. without draining the expansion tank separately). Good luck.

If I'm just draining the coolant, do I still need to access and remove the radiator cap?
@3ftDeepChannel2 жыл бұрын
Well, you’ll need to put the new coolant in somehow … :)

@@3ftDeepChannel for winter storage purposes. Storing the bike with empty coolant tank for more than a couple months at a time was recommended in the Honda storage guide.
@3ftDeepChannel2 жыл бұрын
This is true …if you’re going to store your bike for more than six months. If you do so, make absolutely sure that you can’t possibly ride it until it’s refilled (or you’ll destroy your engine). So the answer to your original question is “no”, but it’ll drain more slowly and may need a little “burping” by rocking it side to side and back to front occasionally. Good luck.

Can we use any type of coolants?
@3ftDeepChannel4 ай бұрын
No. It has to conform exactly to the manufacturer’s specification.

Why need change a new coolant? Because coolant of reduced performance?
@3ftDeepChannel2 жыл бұрын
It will not affect performance. Coolant needs changing because it degrades overtime and can be destructive to your engine. It’s part of the regular maintenance schedule.

How often should the coolant be replaced? My CB1000R 2018 has 15,000 km.

Hi I did the same process but something went wrong…. Right now the temperature goes up the 100 degrees celsius and doesn’t go down… the fan start and don’t switch off. Only if I ride the temperture go down and the fan stop. What i wrong?? Now I scare to burn the engine!!!

Are you absolutely certain you used the right coolant mix?

@@3ftDeepChannel Thanks for answer me soon, yes I bought the honda pro coolant….
@3ftDeepChannel5 ай бұрын
Sounds like either your thermostat is stuck in the closed position. Either that, or you didn’t put enough coolant in. Make sure you put the correct amount of coolant in the system. Good luck.

@@3ftDeepChannel you Think I have to drain all coolant and repeat from the begun?? The bike is young….
@3ftDeepChannel5 ай бұрын
No, I wouldn’t do that. I would rock the bike from side to side vigorously and see if there are any air bubbles in there and then confirm that you are full of fluid. I still suspect you’re low on coolant.

how to set the clock?
@3ftDeepChannel4 ай бұрын
The procedure is a bit tricky. I suggest you download the Owner’s Manual for your machine. They are available for free on Honda’s website.
