Thanks and good luck with the service, it’s pretty basic stuff. I did make one mistake in the video. You should only have just over 300 ML of the third quart. I mistakenly said you should have 600 left. Thanks for watching!

Great demonstration. I was servicing that old quad of yours, and found your video.

Hey there Aaron! I miss that bike, it was more fun having two. One adjustment on the information in the video. You should only have about 300 ML remaining in the third quart. I’ve been making quite a few videos, so watch for them too

This is a great video as I come up on my 100 mile break-in oil change. I have already completed my tool shopping, and wondering what mm size the socket is for the skid plate bolts.

Not that I notice. My son’s feels a little better but I’m guessing it’s an adjustment issue.

what size of oil filter wrench did you use
@arkansasjeffro3 жыл бұрын
You should have a little over 300ml left in the 3rd bottle of engine oil and not 600ml left in order to make 2500ml. Also, the K&N oil filters have a nut on the end that allows for easier install and removal. I run them on everything from my truck to my tractor to my atv. They really make filter changes a breeze.
@aaronkelley74483 жыл бұрын
Yes thanks for the correction on the oil remaining. I’ll have to try the K&N filter. I’ve tried them on my Nissan Xterra and like them.

Thanks for sharing. Does the oil drain plug have a crush washer that needs to be replaced like the yamaha 's ?

I believe it electronic power steering so it doesn’t have a reservoir like a car or truck would.

Did you use the Kawasaki differential/wet brake oil in the ‘14? I changed the rear differential oil this weekend. I used the Suzuki Ecostsr wet brake oil. The brake seems to be sticking now, and makes a little whining noise on deaccelation. Just curious what was in it previously.
@aaronkelley74483 жыл бұрын
Yes I’ve been using the Kawasaki oil at the recommendation of the guys at Action Motorsports. Hope it settles down. I would think both oils should be fine.
@aaronhansen80373 жыл бұрын
@@aaronkelley7448 thanks. If it doesn’t smooth out I’ll try the Kawasaki oil. It’s sat since October, so that could be a part of it too

Hi. Question. Can we use atv or quad bike for road trips around the world like bikes???
@aaronkelley74483 жыл бұрын
Nabeel I’m not sure I understand your question entirely. Quads are quite capable of going long distance and hauling quite a bit of equipment/supplies. I would think both of those would be important considerations for extended road trips. One problem would be that in many areas they are not legal for road use. Would you mind clarifying your questions and I will do my best to answer.

Thanks for the video! I'm at 100 hours now and was getting ready to do this. Can you comment on any problems you have had with the your King Quad?
@aaronkelley74483 жыл бұрын
Hey there Eric. The only weird thing I’ve had is my fuel injection light has come on a couple of times when fuel level was low and I was on steep downhill grade. It continued to run fine but didn’t go out until I was on more level ground and turned it off then back on. I had some bad info in that video and a viewer was kind enough to point it out. The correction is that you should only have about 300 ML left from the third quart not 600ML. How has yours been working out for you?

How much do you add to the rear differential?
@aaronkelley74482 жыл бұрын
I don’t know the actual amount but you just fill it up until the fluid comes to the bottom of the threads for the fill cap. One 32 ounce bottle is more than enough. Thanks for watching and good luck. Please look for some of the early comments on this video because there was a correction to the amount of oil you will need.
@alandiamond58183 жыл бұрын
How many quarts do you need for the front diff???
@aaronkelley74483 жыл бұрын
One quart was more than enough. Just make sure to remove the fill level screw/ plug and stop putting oil in when it starts to come out that hole. A pump makes the process pretty easy. Got mine at harbor freight for a few bucks.
@aaronkelley74483 жыл бұрын
Not sure if you’re changing the engine oil but if so I should clarify that you should only have about 300 ML left out of the third quart. In the video I said you should have about 600 ML left, but that was incorrect. Good luck!
