How to change the grass cutting height on a Flymo Turbo Lite 330 & Turbo 400

Hello, any ideas on how I can adjust the height on my new flymo? The blade bolt has been so ferociously tightened in the factory that I can't shift it with the silly plastic spanner provided in order to insert spacers

I cannot get the bolt out of my flymo ...do you have to have a spacer in for it to work ..I am new to all this

How do you do a cut with one or 2 spacers as when I try the bolt doesn't go in enough and the blade isn't tight. It will only work with 3 spacers only. Thanks

The bolt on mine is stuck and I cannot get it off. I find it terrible customer service that flymo haven’t responded to the queries below, they might as well take this video down.

Still confusing, does adding give a shorter cut or longer cut..it's not clear because of the terminology used on these Flymo ads. My logic says adding pushes the blade closer to the lawn so will give a shorter cut to the grass.

Adding spacers gives a shorter cut - if you can manage to remove the s*dding bolt with the silly plastic spanner in order to fit them

@@miriamdooley6657 Do you have the correct tool? With any bolts/screws, when they are rigid, a gentle tap with a small hammer should give enough shock to release the thread. Failing that, use a large wrench with a bit more leverage. Just make sure it fits perfectly otherwise you might damage the head.
