Hi Dmitry. It has not worked for me on Windows 11 Home Chinese only. Even editing all 3 files, after restarting it rool backs the InstallLanguage register to original 0804 instead of 0416 (PT-BR, desired). Do you think I should try to change Local register to this same code as well? Thanks for the support.

I just tried this method, this means change the default and display language by entering my desired 4 digit language code by registry editor in administrator mode (original language is 0409 English, my desired language is 0407 German). For me this method failed as follows: I succeeded to change the 4 digit language code by registry editor (confirmed by closing the registry editor and opening it a 2nd time to confirm my desired/overwritten values are in). After this registry change my PC needs for restart/-boot longer than usual. After restart/-boot Windows still greets in English saying "Welcome", this means original English language is still active and registry editor says: Default: My desired 4 digit language code (my change is accepted/set) Display: Original 4 digit language code (my change made by registry editor has obviously not been accepted while closing or was overwritten to original value while restarting/-booting) On my PC, brand new bought/set-up on 30. August, this method has not worked. Further details: I have the 1 language Windows 11 (cannot select/change the Display Language), but have already added/installed my desired 0407 German language under Preferred Language and set it there to top/priority position.

I got a problem with this here. First of all, I successfully changed my display language using the same method as you do. However, when I tried to change it to another language (which I pasted the code of the display language on both the defaults and installed language part), after I restart my computer, the installed language reverts back to the code of the language I've just changeed.
