On an older rig use a blow dryer and 4" spackle knife and get it started. No razors!!! Dryer is much more gentle. Big Dogg RV channel tells you on his channel a couple weeks ago on his older Coachman.

I have a dark blue Gel coat cap, and its all faded already only after 3 yrs. I have tried buffing it with all different kinds of rubbing compound, and it still fads quickly... This seems to be the answer.... Thanks Todd

How well does the wrap stay on? Does temperature cause it to expand and shrink? How about repeated washing and extreme winds with heavy rains?

We have wrapped a number of our vehicles and it's meant to adhere and tackle the elements. No issues over 3 years on Sheila's Explorer and she washed it alot cuz she doesn't like dirt lol

I would think it would peel like it does on wood, especially in the extreme heat and cold that you get over there, and then there’s always the brush strokes. I have seen older outfits where they have done the whole rig and used tape to put lines on, but they have done it with a hand held spray gun.

Looks great. Question, how does your Anderson blocks work for leveling. The leveling blocks for some reason won’t allow me to auto level on my Grand Design. According to them they have to be at least 8 inches extended in order for the other level system to engage however I’ve tried and I can’t get it to work I have to end up removing them to auto level any suggestions?

Interesting - we have never had that issue although we don't use our blocks every time just when the truck is to high. Sorry we were not of much help with that one!

That can be done either way... sometimes I may overlap a quarter inch if I don't have the length or will use some smaller scrap pieces... the process is still the same

Yes - you would probably still be able to see the lines of the cracks on the old decal but the freshness of the new vinyl would probably still make such a difference it would be worth it. It would look like some texture.

I came across a guy on KZbin Sweet Project Cars he has motorcycles and does detailing. He was showing how to but a permanent shine on old truck rims. He used a product called Old 99 ? But what it is 99% alcohol there are other brands. But that stuff worked great .
