I like how you put safety first and letting the lift drop down and lock in place and not leave it in the middle.

That's a damn sweet lookin truck!! I'm diggin it. The undercarriage is absolutely beautiful!! I try and pressure wash it off before I work on them. But yours looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. I'm jealous of the lift too lol ( I found a used one for 2k that I am getting in the spring) I must have OCD. I doubt if it's at all necessary, but I torque pattern my lug nuts off as well as when I put them back on. I just barely crack em loose then torque pattern around to remove them. In the meantime, I leave the oil plug out while I do other things to try and get every last drop of old oil out ( OCD ). I also fill my oil filters up with oil, unless they are tilted, but I still try and get as much oil in the filter as I can. I noticed (especially engines with high miles and/or hydraulic lifters) that the engine doesn't do the ticking as bad or any ticking at all if I fill them. Like I said, all that is probably not necessary. I've heard stories of 200-pound gorillas warping rotors by just going in a circle not using a pattern when tightening. Don't know how true that is. Have you ever heard of that before? Keep up the videos, I enjoy them. Cant understand why anyone would have downvoted this video. You work methodically and its a pleasure to watch.

Thanks, man this is the last vehicle I`ll ever buy its gotta last me till I can't drive anymore! Your OCD pays off big when working on cars. I like guys like you around because your OCD will notice something that might have been left undone and save my Ass!

I'm sure it will last you just fine. Somebody T-boned me in my Expedition 2 days before Christmas. I purchased a 2004 Pontiac Vibe that I got for $600 to run around while I repair it. Alot of guys I know said they are junk. For a beater with excellent fuel mileage, a Toyota drivetrain I feel it will do just fine. Interiors are crappy but so what, its a beater. Someone replaced the manual gearbox and clutch before I bought it. I know the 5spds can be an issue but for what it is it will do fine. My Expedition is my last vehicle as well and the damage isn't that bad. I refuse to have a car payment or debt of any kind so I'll just keep repairing it till Its no longer feasible. My wife has a 07 Grand Am I despise that has an electrical gremlin I'm tracing down. It's in limp mode, OBD reader says it cant communicate with throttle body. Ive narrowed it down to wire harness or computer. Im currently going hand over hand all the wiring to see if there is a broken wire or the like, but my suspicion is the ECM, as the car at one time was hit on driver front headlight area where ECM is...having a lot of fun with this one...NOT lol

The 20-500 filter works? I thought my 2018 Sierra took the 20-10063

you have a full size spare under there did you check it? might want to pull it down and check pressure and clean it up and put some armor all on it or some type of tire dressing so it doesn`t get dry rotted. seen that happen a lot then if you need it it will be ready and no surprises.

Do you buy car parts (oil, air filters, etc)from Rockauto? Looks like they have low prices. What do you think?
@Bryan9166 жыл бұрын
Lego Builder Sure why Not just don't don't buy too cheap, go for a premium or mid-grade from RockAuto and you'll be fine.
