A little to much jabber. But very informative thanks for the video. I have a tilt trailer that I built and want to convert the hubs to get away from trailer house rims and their wancky tire size. Once again thank you.

I put anti-seize compound on the studs before placing the lug nuts. This can save you from a serious PIA on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere!

Why didn't you polish up the spindle with emory cloth? The Seal will never last on that spindle.

On these hubs everything was ready to go I didn't have to install anything just mount it to the axle thanks so much for watching

You're missing the outer grease seal.

It might appear that way but everything was in there thanks for watching

@@massis32210 I just bought the same kit. Mine came with a loose grease seal. Instructions don’t show where it goes. The inner grease seal was already broken in place. Does the loose one go on the outside after the nut and washer then put the cap on?
@massis32210 Жыл бұрын
@@GregsShop if I remember right there should be an outer grease seal that goes on the axle first to the hub and I don't honestly recall but I doubt there's an outer grease seal I think just the washer then the nut.

@@massis32210 thanks for getting back to me. I’m probably overthinking this like I do everything else.

So you replace an old hub that was cracked and broken with a new hub that was cracked and broken. That don't make no sense why out something broken to replace something that is all ready broken they only cost 44 new online.
@massis322102 жыл бұрын
I would have to disagree with you, the old hub was pooched for sure and not knowing the condition of course I'm going to replace it. But how is the new one cracked it was brand new out of a kit? If you could find at any point in my video where that new hub is cracked you please point that out cuz now you got me interested this video's been out for a very long time.

Dude, what's the point of doing this video for beginners if you already have the damn hub already disassembled! Do the shit over in detail. Smh.
@massis322103 жыл бұрын
The point of the video was instructional how to a lot of people are not very mechanically inclined this is why I created a video to show people how easy it is to just swap out hubs thanks for watching
