Thanks again! That connector is a tough one to get out. I struggled for a while with it. I eventually took the new sensor out of the package to see what was making it difficult to get the red tab pushed out. Once I saw what the red tab is supposed to latch on to I got it out in seconds. Put the new one in and all the lights and stiff steering are gone. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

I had the same exact ABS, etc, etc. failure problem with my 2013 Lincoln MKZ. I purchased the Autophix 7150 FD+OBDII Scanner for $89 on Ebay- The scanner told me exactly on what wheel the speed sensor had failed. $13 dollars later and a little time it is fixed. Well worth the cost of this Scanner, which was inexpensive and coded specifically for Ford products, to properly diagnose the issue.

Yes, it slightly did. Most likely the sensor needs to be changed

I was taking the wheel speed sensor off on the LH side of the car and the nut holding the sensor broke off. Is there a tool I can use to extract the rest of the nut out?

Hello! I'm having a problem with my ACC which shows me a message of Radar block. But when I scan the car, there is also ABS error code on the scanner. Would faulty speed sensor have affect to them? Thank you for your kindness :)

Radar block is different from wheel speed sensor and should not trigger the radar. I have radar message too because I hit an animal which caused the sensor to me misaligned.

So do you have to push something down to pull the red clip back? Once the red clip is back can you just pull it out or is there something you have to push on the red clip side?

You have the push the red tab back from the opposite side with a small screwdriver. Yes once the clip is back just pull the clips out by squeezing them

wrench light could be something else. Best to take it to a mechanic, but you can always read the codes so you can pinpoint the problem. Best of luck. Check out our Facebook group if you want to connect with others.

Thats what happening me, then it became a recurring thing. I think the code only is in the system when the warning lights are on. Depending on the code scanner, the scanner should be able to retrieve old codes. Check out Facebook Lincoln mkz group.
