Thank you kind sir, I am an old hag senior with no muscle tone, been ridden for 30 years and on limited income with no one around to help on any level. I dreaded doing this but I was beginning to not be able to see out the window after not changing them in 12 years, I watched someone else's video but it was not my windshield wipers and so I struggled to do it. Tip...when u are changing all wiper blades, place a piece of cardboard on the windshield...this way if they snap after u remove the blades you will not shatter the windshield.

Gave me major anxiety leaving those wiper arms up hahaha. Usually Toyota OEM wiper blades (the ones that first come with the vehicle) have interchangeable rubber inserts which cost less than new blades but that's only the original OEM's that come with the vehicle, the refill blades that Toyota sells which are still OEM don't have that feature. which the ones in this video could easily have been but either way very helpful to those who are unaware of how to do this!

Wiper blades on amazon have gone up in price. I used rockauto this time. 5 blades for $50 shipped vs $50 for 2 blades on amazon shipped.

Keep trying I was not able to either, did you pop the thingie up first or maybe there is muck under it, making a tight seal which was my issue, but I re watched the video as I am a tad bit slow on the uptake and I went back out, and not forcing it, I tried again and kept at it and it popped up and I was able to slid them out, I was so happy.

bosch blades are not good, I work at an auto parts store and I replaced 4 blades that were bosch TODAY, the blades that came of my truck were bosch and they are terrible,....i recommend Trico Force blades...they last a whole year no matter that circumstances

That’s probably true. These are the more expensive ones that are supposed to last longer, so they are probably silicone.

FYI you made a mistake.... The wiper blade rubber inserts only needed to be replaced. Not the entire wiper blade.
