I do not know why you are being told that. As of the recording, following the video should allow you to change the principal and mailing address without paying any fees. If you are changing the REGISTERED address, you will indeed need to update the articles of organization, mail it in and pay the fee.

Yes, you can file an Articles of Amendment but the original Articles of Organization will still be available online and will show the old address.

Hi Mian you need to file an amendment to add your name to the company. You can't use the method in this video to do that.

1-The change won't automatically reflect on your EIN. You will need to send the IRS a change of address form. It's separate from the EIN application. 2-As of this writing, they are getting faster on the address updates but I would ask your bank and Amazon what you should do.

No you cannot change the principal address to a PO Box. You can try, but the likely result will be that state refuses to make the change on Sunbiz.

Yes, you can change your business mailing and principle address online. However, you cannot change the registered address online. You would need to mail in an amendment to change the registered address.

As of this writing, you cannot change to an international address online because the online form requires a state and zipcode. You could try calling Sunbiz to see if you can make a change via e-mail, mail or in person.

Yes, the old address would appear in one of the documents under the "document images" section of the company's page as a previous filing. But you have to proactively click and download each document to see the old information.

Unfortunately you cannot use this method to change a business name. To change your business name you would need to file an amendment which has a filing fee and the amendment has to be mailed in to the Division of Corporations.

I'm not sure what business number you are referring to. The Sunbiz database does not include business phone numbers. You should be able to use this same method to change your EIN if that's the number you are referring to.
