This video will show you how to change the MAP Sensor for your Dodge Grand Caravan, and Chrysler Town & Country (3.6 V6).
This is a nice and easy DIY job and great for when you are getting engine issues such as the P0106, P0107 and P0108 ODB-II Codes.

Good job Teacher, how do you know it needs to be replaced? Your washing it out with electrical spray? Do you use electrical grease after to join the wires??? I have a 2014 Town and Country Van, all the warning lights come on the dash, ever so often, and the windshield wipers, drives me crazy, can't pin point it. It says the cadlic converter needs to be replaced. Low milage on the engine, 120, 345 miles on it.I hope it not that C C. Still has power if I need it, but sometimes when I am costing it slows down, almost like going into a lower gear. Do you have any ideas please???

Not currently, but we have a load more content coming so maybe we'll be able to cover the throttle body before too long! :-) --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome! I just noticed there's a hose to your left my caravan doesn't have that hose it has the outlet that the hose hooks up too but no hose I don't remember if I put back the last time I took the manifold off my engine has been running rough changed a bunch of stuff do I need to reattach that hose please lmk
@YouWrench
@YouWrench 2 жыл бұрын
I'm note sure which exact hose you mean, but yes vacuum hoses are essential and having one or more absolutely can lead to rough idling and other engine running issues. So they should always be put back on or repaired/replaced if damaged. @@jimmyfale6370 Thanks fo ryour support - alwasy appreciated! You might want to go down the route of taking a look at the fuel injectors, and injector connectors/wiring. It could indeed be something more sinister like engine valves etc, but you certainly would not entertain changing the engine until the injectors have been tested. Hope that helps!

@@YouWrench thank you very much ok how do you check the fuel injectors they are brand new I changed all of them could they be defective even though I got it brand new again appreciate your response I have a headache from this van never again will I get a Dodge product will donate to you guys this week Friday on PayPal I sent 20 dollars but it said you guys only get 14. 00 dollars of it what's up with that
@YouWrench
@YouWrench 2 жыл бұрын
@@jimmyfale6370 ah, ok. If they are new it's unlikely that the injectors themselves are faulty. But it could be the wiring/power to the injectors, or could also even be an issue before the injectors in the system such as the fuel filter being clogged, or even the fuel pump. It could be something worse, but with the work you have done then fuelling is the next thing you need to rule out, or better still discover is the issue. If you do some Google searches you'll easily find various ways to test the injectors for power with a multimeter (fairly easy). Best of luck with the fault finding, never much fun especially when you need the car!!
