Excellent video, great photography (much appreciated), no unnecessary voice-over or techno music that drives you nuts (even more appreciated!), and really clear instructions on-screen. And of course, fabulous content and explanation. Thank you :-) Should be compulsory viewing for anyone posting how-to vids on KZbin! Something on replacing the coil packs and ignition module could be helpful - I've done these a couple of times, but it's not always obvious what to do/how to diagnose. No rush - in your 'spare time', Ecotec Ace :-D

Another good episode, well done I would personally always run the heat shields and the conduit. These protect the leads and will most likely have them last longer.

I gapped my car to 1.5mm for my 3.8l Holden statesman and find that its a little on the rough side when idling ..Not by much just a little too much tremor.. The stock plugs I took out were all at around 1.45 mm and the car just felt better for some reason. The car has done 431,500k's ..could be my leads which are not that old , some have lost the spring in the spark lead socket.. They all seem to clamp up fine though. The leads were an aftermarket cheap brand from memory.. Time for new leads ?

Thanks for a great video! Has it made any difference to fuel economy? Any reason why you used the bpr7efs instead of the recommended bpr6efs plugs?

When I owned this car I didn't notice too much difference with fuel economy. I only just noticed I used a different number! The car ran fine afterwards though lol :)

Hello mate i have same ur car but ls1 vz 2006 If i want buy entire door front right new or used but clean How much will it cost? I'm tired of looking for parts for my car on websites

I'd be saying you couldn't get new doors anymore but you might try your luck with a Holden dealer near you and see if they can, most of the time it's just timing (what I've found) just keep searching around at wreckers or on marketplace and you'll find one in no time!
