People, don't do this! No CC/CV, no reverse voltage (diode). I don't even think that panels can provide the required 12.6V that is required to charge the cells. Instead, get a boost/buck converter with CC/CV. Connect the one lead of the panel to a diode and then connect it to the input of the boost/buck converter. Set the voltage of the boost/buck converter to 12.6V and the current to 1500mA (depending on the capacity of your cells, 1500mA is a safe reference). Connect the output of the boost/buck converter to you bms. Monitor your battery, disconnect it when full. Don't just go put in the sun and forget about it. Do your research, don't just except what some guy says on KZbin.

Thanks for the guidance. I see you are soldering onto the battery contacts. Lots of other videos advise strongly against this, saying it will destroy the battery. They say you have to spot weld the contacts with nickel tape. So, what is a noob to believe?

So did no one else notice the location of the wires change at around 3:00. The start out on the inside of the left panel and by 3:20 they're moved to the outside of the left panel. Which one works buddy!!!

Hello, thanks for the video It seems that you have to connect B+ and B- on the BMS before B1 and B2. Otherwise it could damage your battery Best regards from France

8:34 what are you talking about? he clearly connected 0V first and then 4.2V, 8.4V, 12.6V, B+ and B- at last. Maybe you got confused because he used a red wire in places where it should have been black.🙃

Question: Such a solar panel can be built into a large panel

You can use a 18650 battery holder

thanks for the video... now the question is? how can I use these batteries with the solar panels attached to it? ban B+ and B- be shared with the solar panes and a load such as a small electric motor or LEDs?

the bms cars needs 12.6 v for charge but solar panel is dont give this voltage i think you can use tp4056 card and charge the battery single its better effective

How to use the battery? Can you use it as 12v, ,8v, or 4v? How to wire output?

LMAO this is the funniest video that I have seen in ages! How not to solder, how not to follow convention. Thanks for the laugh! BTW Convention says Black to minus, red to positive.

How about putting your own video up to show us all how its done .They do say there is one in every village

Doesn't anyone really know how to solder anymore? All I see are cold solder joints on the solar cells and batteries which will eventually fail when mechanically stressed. Use a "heat sink" when soldering on delicate joints to reduce heat stress! Make sure the solder flows onto the joints, not just a "blob" connection that WILL eventually fail. Grand ideas but poor connections.

I am a simple man. I would hate to ask you "What time is it?' because you would probably spend an hour telling me how to build a watch. PLEASE, I just want to know what Solar Panel, Charger, Regulator, etc, I need to power an ESP32-cam sitting in a tree for one year. Sorry if I sound exasperated, but I not an engineer, and the only guidance I need is Model Numbers, parts numbers, quantity, etc. Thank you so much for understanding my "non-engineer" question. Tony
