Would help if you specified on attaching the leads, whether positive first or negative first. And the same with disconnecting.
@SchumacherWerkstattАй бұрын
@@Greg-kp5gd Old-school advice suggests connecting the positive lead first, then the negative, to minimize the risk of shorting. The positive connection is usually more isolated, while connecting the negative first could accidentally create a short, especially if the negative terminal is grounded.

What year is that Bentley? Will that be the same location for my 2016
@SchumacherWerkstattАй бұрын
This is a 2005 Bentley. The 2016 will be a little different. You can find official repair manuals from Bentley here bentleymotors.erwin-store.com

... And you can probably guess why I'm watching this video... I'm just glad this happened after the hurricane otherwise my car would have been a complete loss.

Can i attach a ctek this way with a dead battery?
@SchumacherWerkstattАй бұрын
Hi, you will want to check the instruction manual for your particular battery charger/maintainer, but I would say you could do it.
@shaazyАй бұрын
@@SchumacherWerkstattIt worked! My battery was beyond dead, so I had to keep it plugged into that junction with strut tower as ground for 3 hours at least and the boot finally opened.

@@SchumacherWerkstatt Oh yes, it is a lifesaver. Posted it everywhere! Especially cause that emergency release cable behind the rear driver side (RHD) seat wasn't working either. 😁
