This works great for storage, charging and discharge, very good to know! But only on P2 genuine factory - I have some that are unmarked, and no connection error goes off every time.

I know the video is old, but could you tell me why so many people recommend charging like pb battery because it's a constant voltaje? Is this better?

IF NOT WORKING... If you're only getting like 1 solid or 1 flashing led on the battery, it's because that sucker is REALLY flat/unbalanced. Wait long enough and things start happening (more leds light up and start scrolling like normal) Hope this helps someone. Also depending on your charger you may need to turn the battery on first else you just get "CONNECTION BREAK"

I'm trying to solder the connectors from the stock power brick and its a coax cable. I was wondering whats the polarity of the cable, is the inner wire (the one covered with the white sheath) the negative or the positive?

With DC voltage it shouldn’t matter.

Does NOT work, I set mine to 4s LiHV, which is what the DJI Phantom 3 batteries are, and my charger just says "Cell Error," even though the battery is turned on. I verified that the polarity is also correct.

This is for phantom2

You do NOT need to storage charge DJI batteries, since they are "intelligent" batteries, they automatically self-discharge on their own if not used for a few days. At least thats what mine do. You can set it in the app to auto storage discharge between 1 and 10 days.

I don't think they could discharge that amount of energy, for physical reasons
