That's pretty cool that the deep cycle battery can do that. Just curious. How much charge was left in the deep cycle after the charges? I was thinking about using one on the back of my camper for supplemental power for lighting and such.

I've done that with various laptops with lead acid deep cycle batteries, but laptop batteries are much smaller than your eBike battery. We need to change out to a lithium battery of some type for a couple of reasons: (1) lighter weight - I could easily get a 100Wh lithium with the same or less weight than our current 50Wh lead acid -- and -- (2) lithium batteries don't have the drop-off problem that lead acid batteries do. What is your recommendation for lithium batteries? I believe you have used several over the years.

I like the one I traded for from Rebel Batteries. I gave them a signed copy of the leather bound version of my Dad's book (We were soldiers once... and young) in trade for their 100 Ah battery. I like it because it has a switch on the top where you can turn on the bluetooth app to monitor the status. The one in this video has a bluetooth app as well, but it is not as easy to use.
