@@Johnny-Five It depends on your State. I live in Utah and have my power company install a different meter that charges me less depending on time of day. Mine is 3 Cents per KWH for Off-peak usage. So I charge mine at night. I am noticing between $5 and $15 per month to charge my car (depending on my car usage).

@@alvin12341 You actually get a TON of Torque right off the line. But yes, if you are using battery by itself the HP ends up be lower. Put it in POWER mode and man you can take off pretty quick and Power-Mode with Gas engine even better.

With my Prime I drove from South Lake Tahoe to Sacramento >100 miles on a single charge. It is almost exclusively downhill but it was sure fun to accomplish this distance on a single charge.

I bought a Plug-in Prius in Dec/12 and liked it but it wouldn’t stay in EV if you floored it and didn’t have enough EV range. I went to Tesla then in 15 but it the endless need for repairs is tiring. I’m excited for the RAV4 Prime, too bad Toyota didn’t have it 5 years ago or I wouldn’t have left them.

Greetings from Italy, your videos helped me to choose my new Prius. I didn't purchase the Plug In (Toyota doesn't call it Prime here) because it's too expensive. I have a question for you: let's say that you run almost always on electricity, so the fuel remains in the tank for a long time. I now that the old gasoline doesn't work well as when it is new, even well sealed inside the tank, in that volatile components evaporate and the ignition is impaired. Do you have any notice about this issue?
