Hi Peter.love your videos.so helpfully. I have a 1994 Corolla. The idle used to be really good. Now it has started to idle slightly higher. It does it mostly when first started but seems to get better when warm. No codes.no vacuum leaks.have cleaned throttle body a bit but not helped. Car gets up to normal temp quite quickly. New plugs and air filter. Any ideas or suggestions please? Thanks.pete.

Check if the idle control screw did not move the throttle butterfly a little. It's on the throttle bottle by that accelerator.

Amazing video, will plan on checking on my 1998 corolla. I have an issue with high idle (1200 RPM with AC on & 1500 RPM with AC off) - also have an issue with the AC compressor, it keeps engaging & disengaging when car is at idle, unless I rev up to around 1700 RPM, at which point it functions normally - and also functions nornally when I am driving.

Peter Finn . Thank you for your reply but car does not have abs as its a swap engine. Here in Pakistan we dis not had ABS in ae100 model. A little research showed something about combustion pressure sensor but how to check and clear it.

IRAQ GIS TEAM that indicates that it has some problems. My 2 cents would be not to try and fix it as long as u can drive. Try to read the codes as shown above and see what it is. There was somekind of a reset as well aka 15min no battery but first read the code. And dont try to fix it if is immo related otherwise she might not be a runner no more. All the best!
