Ravi, Just subscribed. quick question .. where did you get the point about 100% efficency, 75%, 50%, etc based on voltage difference .. I checked mitchelle and all data or even OEM toyota manual it doesnt have. wondering where did u get it. I am in USA and here we do it little differetn on stress test . Have the car come to dead stop, then wide open throttle open for 5 seconds(this is to drain), then immediately put the car in neutral (this will avoid regenerative charge back to battery). do this 5 times. compare state of charge before and after. if state of charge is < 5% then ti is new, 10 to 20 % is good, 20 to 25 means needs more work.

Thanks for the subscription. Anyway those are not officially data. I am trying to give an idea for the viewers to understand about the hybrid battery condition with the voltage difference between each blocks with my experience. When the voltage difference going high mean the contribution of HV battery pack for the power train is reduced. (Efficiency) The test you are explaining is also right and we are also use it in other way. Just fully charge the battery by wide open throttle at the gear D position and discharge it in The neutral position over 6amp current draw by headlights on, AC on etc…… it will quickly revels the voltage difference between blocks and will set delta SOC if any battery block have weak cell…….

I am getting 0 ohm internal cell resistance accross all cells. Does this mean anything?

@@ravifixall Someone tested 3 Camry’s for me, all Japanese imports using Launch X. 431. They are getting 0 ohm on 2 of them and 0.002 ohm in one. All cars are 5 years old. Does 0 ohm mean there is something wrong with the battery? Or, can this have something to do with a Camry software update so it doesn’t show resistance at all?

Bad battery cells. If few cells bad replac them, if more cells bad replac entire battery pack.
