iPhone 7 doesn't have true tone. This option is only for iPhone 8 and newer.

It’s wrong when u say about True Tone,if you change your damage display with another display original (from a phone with iCloud) you Lose True Tone,display has a Cip paired with motherboard ( like fingerprint)

Not only an iphone, on every phone if u buy a fake screen basically you destroy your eye sight way faster cuz its ALWAYS "cooler" . The original is always "warmer". No matter you set your night mode or true tone whatever it will irritate your eye way faster

​@@oiyo5124 To have true tone, you must reprogram an OEM screen (in most cases would be refurbished) to read the serial number of the phone's original screen. This can easily be done with a $40+ device like the iCopy or Clone Boy, but many phone technicians don't bother with it. In your case, I feel like your repair shop swindled you. There are many instances where a shop will claim they use OEM screens but settle for cheaper aftermarket ones. It might be too late now to nag them, but you can still try and fix it yourself. It's relatively easy if you have a steady hand and a sharp mind.

I’ve been fixing iphones in third party repair shop and it’s possible to calibrate cheap Chinese lcd to phone so I’d make True Tone available with help of little Chinese chip/computer whatever you want to call it 🤣🤣🤣. Though original iPhone screen needs to be calibrated through apple software witch works with apple’s serves bla bla bla few third party repair shops are actually authorised by apple to use their software for display calibration and thus the serial number doesn’t help at all cause if it isn’t done through apple software it won’t change serial number 🤣🤣🤣🤣
