How do i do this with mine. I'm using the factory harness, and ecm that came with my engine. DBW. My truck is a 1986 C20 it also came with cruise control so my brake switch is 2 sided. Cause I'm trying to figure out how to wire this with the factory harness that my engine came with

What model and year are your engine? Are you running the 4l60e?

Hello. I have issues with my car stalling in reverse and drive. I have a 90 silverado and I used my existing brake switch. I have the purple wire coming from the TCM I believe. It says that wire need to go to 12v when brakes are applied. Am I suppose to reword in this brake switch instead?

The stalling could be a few different things. Even if the TCC switch is wired wrong or not wired at all; it wouldn’t cause the engine to stall. You are correct, the purple wired goes from the TCC switch to the PCM; then the red wire goes from the switch to a keyed on power source (fused) the brake switch should be the same; it should have four or five (if equipped with power steering) coming off the switch. Did you swap a newer engine out onto your Silverado?

Hello. So I figured out what was wrong. My TCC is wired correct. My issue is a part called the pressure regulator valve. When you install a torque converter” circle d with higher rpm “2800”and triple disc, one out of 10 transmission need the regulator valve replaced with a sonnax. It allows more pressure during low rpm conditions I believe. It is on the circle d website.
