To high oil level will not increase oil pressure directly it will increase crankcase pressure that will cause a number of issues like. blowing out crank seals ,sucking oil past oil separator and feeding into charge"boost" system (can cause catastrophic damage engine runaway) ,can cause turbo oil seals to fail if return is restricted , oil can be forced past rings therefore being burnt to the ring landings wich in turn wheres down rings prematurely and the list goes on

Does the engine have to be at operation temperature or can it be cool ?

You get the best and most accurate reading by checking the oil cold, first thing in the morning. That will give you the best reading, as there has been no oil circulation through the eengine, and all the oil will be settled in the pan.

Hey I have question: the yellow part of my dipstick comes out completely or I can twist and seperate the top half from the bottom half of the yellow tube… I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be like that but I get different readings doing it either way… which is the right way to check it?

One tip is your oil level on truck starts suddenly going down like is camber or busting or for some other reason and you cant cant quick enough to a station to buy oil, dont use the jake brake, jake brakes still require a lot of oil pressure so if youre running low on oil id can damage the engine.
