For R15 V2.0, the stock battery is 3.5Ah, Z4 battery. Is there enough space for a 4Ah, Z5 battery?

Yeah, you are right. The stock battery was 3.5A, I searched for that one but I couldn't find it anywhere. 4Ah battery will fit perfectly in R15, It's almost the same size of the 3.5 Ah battery.

That's because of the battery. If the problem is with the relay you don't hear the sound. I think you have the same issue. Recharge the batteries, so that you can confirm.

Hi I am also getting this sound when pressing self start, went to battery shop, they told that battery is fine and charged too, but they charged it fully Then I was able to self start easily, but for the next 5 days, I didn't start the bike. On 6th day, I got the same sound as earlier on self start and unable to start. Able to self start when covered 5kms but this issue still persists. Also display shows error code 46. Any idea is it because of RR unit, relay or the battery itself ?

Yes bro, I saw that. But there is no problem with my RR unit. It's been almost 2 years and I have done an extra 35000km after this video. Still no issues with the battery. Thank you for your feedback.

HI Bro, Amaron AP-BTZ4L is 3AH battery as per the Amaron website, then why are you mentioning it is 4AH?

Because it was 4Ah bro. I bought it form an authorised Amaron store and they mentioned it as 4Ah. I have provided the Amazon link for this product in the video discription and there also it's mentioned 4Ah. Please check that out. Thank you 😃

@@BehindTheClutter Hope you did not get any issues. If you got 4Ah then you are good, if it is 3AH then you will face problem in future. and it will indicate 46 error code becuase of insufficient power etc.

The stock battery in your bike is 3.5Ah, same as that of version 2. So you can use Amaron AP-BTZ4L . It's a 4Ah battery but it will fit.

Yes, 4A is the correct fit for R15. To remove the wire you have to pull it out from the grove and slide the cylindrical end out from the lock. And to incert you have to slide the cylindrical end in the lock and push the cable in the groove. I think it's better seeing in the video than me telling, that's easy to understand. That cables is part of rear lock mechanism. It is what unlock the seat while we turn the key.

Bro iam facing same problem as you myr bike is showing error 46 code and my bike battery is not taking I showed mechanic near me and they are saying change rectifier and install ''6ahm battery " is the right thing to do as I have changed my batter few months ago and they saying change it anyway so what to I doo broh suggest me the right thing to do!

If it's error code 46, replacing battery won't help. Error code 46 indicates abnormal charging voltage. So you might have to replace RR unit. There are few method to identify error code 46 1. Orange 🟠 indicator Light on your bike's cluster will blink in the order ' 4 times Slow and 6 times fast ' 2. Check the battery voltage after starting the bike, using a multimeter. The voltage should be in range 13.5 -14.7 V. If it's more or less there is a problem with charging. 3. You can connect the bike to a Diagnostic tool ( FI station for Yamaha) and see the fault directly.

And I don't recommend using a 6Ah battery for R15 V2, as it's more load for the alternator.

The stock battery that came with the bike was Tata Green (3.5Ah). It lasted for around 6 years. The current battery is Amaron (4 Ah) it's been 2 years and till now it's running good.

If it's an R15 V2 the stock battery is 3.5 Ah, did you buy it new or is it a second hand one? As a solution first check if the RR unit of the bike is working properly. If it's working good replace the battery with a 4Ah .

Bro, My bike came with TATA Green YTZ5SMF battery as stock, which is of 3.5Ah. So 4Ah is the correct battery size for R15 v2.0. 5Ah batteries will be slightly larger and hence won't fit in the slot.
