We got onto the cssps site, entered index number plus 24 as year of exam and kept getting the response "the index number was wrong", even though it's the same as on the results slip. What should we do in this case?

These are the instructions: Enter your 10-digits BECE index number followed by the year. eg. 100000000024 If you are getting errors, perhaps you need to visit GES.

Thanks for the info. I will like to know how change to a school you did not choose. I have a niece who selected day schools but i want her to go to a boarding school. she has agg. 10...Any advise

If you've not been put automatically in any of the schools you selected, then you can do self placement. However if you've already been put in one of the schools you selected, then you need to follow these steps: 1. Take a release letter from the current school you were placed in 2. Take an assurance letter from the school you are interested in to prove you'll be admitted 3. Submit both letters to the free senior high school secretariat 4. The secretariat will give you a letter to present to the new school you want to be admitted in.
