Think about how many things had to go right on the tying goal: Hughes takes Nyquist out of the play so it's 6 on 4, Pettersson doesn't blindly throw it into a crowd and gives it to Miller, who keeps his shot low for a deflection instead of going high and risking a complete miss, Zadorov blocks two players from the play. Boeser tracks the puck down and despite missing the first attempt, somehow pulls the puck into the net while stopping. Saros didn't have a good grip on the stick which meant he couldn't stop it, and Nyquist was late coming back into the play so he missed blocking it with his stick. An insane sequence of events

So satisfying to see hockey karma in action haha. Forsberg's goal was textbook kicking motion (confirmed by former players on Hockey Panels) and it was a joke that it wasn't reviewable, then McCarron's hit on Casey DeSmith in G3 forcing us to start our third string goalie, and finally the cheap shot from Lauzon on Pettersson after scoring a goal. Not to mention the cocky chants from the fanbase. Game doesn't end until the whistle is heard.

Nah, game four is probably the only game where Nashville outplayed without question against Van. First game was all Van. Second was all Van but Nashville did a masterclass in shot blocking. Third was uno reverse card and Nucks did a master class in defending and limiting play to the perimeters. Game 4 was atrocious for the Canucks outside of 3 min but they only needed the 3 min to win it.

It says something about the NHL that a World Championships MVP is considered a third-string goalie

@@nicholasvandervelden450 Actually it says more about World Championships. Basically it is a contest of which country can make a better roster from NHL losers while the best players are still busy sorting out that Stanley silverware thing.

When Josi didn’t wind up to rim that puck hard out of the zone, I was yelling at the TV. What a mental lapse from an Elite player. I just sat there for a solid minute in silence after the Canucks tied it.

oh man.....i stopped watching after 2 periods cus i needed sleep and live in EU so it was 1am. then i woke up and i was like "WTF-they controlled that game?". Gives me flashbacks of Preds vs Coyotes in 2020 Play-In round.....And that Sissons post shot? oh lord, gives me even more flashbacks and this time of 2017 when ref screwed him and the team in the finals. Preds are heartbroken right now. It hurts so bad!

You know, if Tennessee/Nashville sports was a bigger market, we'd be considered the biggest chokers in sports. Seriously. This state chokes (in embarrassing fashion) across all sports it's insane. It's not over yet though, I have faith
