I recommend watching full games of Crosby if you are new. Watch everything he does, and then watch how no one else can do what he does, consistently. There are faster players, strongers players, harder shooters, more accurate shots. You will always find 1-2 players who can do 1 thing better (except battle in the corner). But no one can do them all as good as he can across the board. He has no flaws. He is a coaches wet dream and frankly could be the coach himself. He is the next GOAT to follow Howe, Orr and Gretzky and anyone who says otherwise needs jesus.

It is somehow unbelievable how 90% of hockey fans are those who only watch the highlight reels and think that is greatness. Crosby has dialed down that flashiness in order to became the most complete player the game have ever seen. Same transition that Yzerman or Sakic did to some lesser degree. And because of that he has won everything there is to win and still at 36 years is top 5 centers in the league. Yes, McJesus might be someone who you would still pickup before him, but the likes of Kucherov, Hughes or Draisaitl have nothing on Crosby if you are thinking one playoff game or series or even one season. Personally I think that in the 2000's only Datsjyuk, Barkov, Sakic or Bergeron have come close to his level of being the complete hockey player. Truly one of the best, if not the best to ever play the game.

As much as I love this video, these past playoff pushing games have not been Crosby "dragging" the Penguins to playoffs. He is playing at a level that nobody can even comprehend, however, the rest of the team has exponentially stepped up their game. When Sid pushes, everyone does. There is a reason for that C on his jersey. He hasn't dragged this team, he is leading them to a team that will be feared in the playoffs because of the fire each player brings.

How crazy is it that Crosby loses his best winger he's ever had in his career, just to get another player to play with geno and ends up being a great line which is finally producing offense and getting geno playing like a man on a mission. Would be amazing if we still had guentzell, now that would be some lethal lines right there. Especially now that the defense has been much better as of late by adding some hungry and excited young players. If they could just get the PP going to even a lil above average and PK the same easy, they would be a serious contender. Only thing that would worry me is the goalie issue. Choose either an inconsistent jarry when getting close to the end of the season or, a back-up that has been amazing this season but not to sure on how he would be in the playoffs, even tho he's been outstanding for the last month or so. I think if they were able to find some players that can put up to around 15 goals a season for the third line, they could be a very exciting team again
