Yes!!! I am doing a huge brush declutter and I have been trying to figure out what to downsize to. This was such perfect timing! I am now sitting down with pen and paper following along and taking notes. Thank you for such an in-depth comparison video🤗❤️

Yay I love longer brush videos and enjoy watching your videos especially as your collection grows. It is so fun to see all these amazing brushes and less costly for my wallet. :)

This is a great video! I love all of these brushes! I need to pick up the Hakuhodo squirrel/goat blends. I have yet to try those and have a few I’m eyeing. I highly recommend you try and get a hold of the Chikuhodo Homare KZ-4. It comes in and out of stock. Fude beauty and even CDJapan will restock it intermittently. The Kazan (red squirrel) is quite unique, you will love it. It’s very soft like the Z-8 but it blends wonderfully.

Thank you ;) Ive been keeping an eye on the KZ-4 and keep missing it on CD Japan. The guy at Hakuhodo was saying how difficult it is to get those hairs.

@@brushjunkie6384 Definitely. I was disappointed when Chikuhodo no longer was sure if it was going to be a permanent line because of the rarity of the hair type. I keep hoping they restock the KZ-1. Sooo… Tanseido is now offered on Fude Beauty which is very dangerous 😂. They have gorgeous brushes and red squirrel is in their permanent line. This fude world is bad for my wallet.

Did you ever apply cream blush under foundation? That's what I dig about natural hair is that it gives a definite polished look, bringing out the sheen without the need for extra highlight. I like the choices of application: pounce, buff, sweep. When I apply too much rouge, I'm reminded of the fact that I'm getting old...older. Ever see old ladies with heavily colored cheeks and lotsa blue eyeshadow?!!! ; D

I dont do blush before foundation mainly because i have a lot of hyperpigmentation on the blush area. I love using these brushes to alter the finish also. Im in the process of testing all of my brushes to see which one does the best job of "polishing" the skin. Which ones have you found to do the best job?

@@brushjunkie6384 Any one of the rounded buffing brushes I have seem to bring a shine to my skin. My natural hairs are Sonia G with one other kabuki. I have to always remind myself to be light handed...be kind to my skin and the brush!

I'm new to fude and have been very much appreciating all of your wonderful videos as I slowly build my collection! I have a few powder blush shades that are quite light, and it seems as though the Sonia G. Cheek Pro might work well for applying these shades. I was wondering if you by chance also had the Sonia G. Classic Cheek, and if so, if you could perhaps let me know if these two brushes achieve similar applications? :)
@brushjunkie63843 жыл бұрын
Yes the cheek pro would be great. And yes I have the classic cheek. I don’t use it so it’s stored. I was thinking I should have included it. In my opinion the classic cheek isn’t close to the cheek pro. It can apply heavily or lightly but I never got the look I liked. The cheek pro gives such an even and more polished finish (makeup artist level). I’m gonna pull out the classic cheek and give it one my shot.

@@brushjunkie6384 Thank you! This is really helpful, as I thought these brushes were quite similar, with the Cheek Pro perhaps achieving a slightly more saturated application. And while the Classic Cheek sounds as though it might be a bit more versatile, I do already have brushes that work well for light applications of darker blush shades, so it sounds as though the Cheek Pro's polished finish sets it apart for my purposes. Thanks again! :)
