@@ltrocha I've wondered if it's critical that the end of the tree below the cantle sits no farther than the last rib, how harmful is it to the horse if it does not and is saddle skirt length critical not to interfere with the hips ?

@@nickwilkinson7728 Almost all saddle trees have the same standard length bars except the Arabian saddles are a little shorter... Unnecessary in my opinion if it's a well fitting tree. Standard skirts are between 26 and 28 inches long. Seldom a problem.
