Nice vid. One addition, a cycle helmet is mostly shaped pointy at the back. They are meant for falling forwards. And with skating you need a round backside on the helmet in case you fall backwards.

mountain bike helmets have less of this issue, there is a fair amount of rear head and neck protection in those, they are also much more ventaliated than a regular skate helmet. I skate in a summer mountainbike helmet because the heat is too much here to wear a "proper" skate helmet. For ages I wore a road-cycling helmet and changed for exactly the reason you described.

It's not just the shape: a skate helmet has to have the specific skate certification. Although many helmets are certified for both

I think every skater should own a helmet. You never know when you're gonna eat shit and hit the dirt. I've seen super experienced skaters hit the deck and bump their head and all it takes is 1 fall. I personally own a Triple 8 dual certified helmet. Then I've covered it with stickers... If you have any for your shop I've love to rock them man. I'll even tag the shop on Facebook and Instagram

So to be clear it should be just that cm measurement, not 57-60cm type helmets? Just one measurement only? Thanks

There is a helmet that will have a 57-59cm measurement but will provide 2 paddings. which you can customize to fit you nicely.
