SOME SUMMARY QUESTIONS - 1. Area . Is the target market in this area? . Is the location too far from customers? . Is your business worth the commute? . Is the area highly populated with lots of customers or is it rural/ not your target market? . How successful are similar businesses in the area? 2. Access: . Pedestrian access, is there any? . Any public transport? . Is there road & parking access? . Make sure to look at zoning laws 3. Noticeablity: . Proximity - is it close to other stores or is it out of the way? . Does the physical look of the store draw in customers? . Drive by - the size and location of signage is very important. As well as the layout of windows/ what is being shown 4. Surrounding neighbourhood: . Should your business be close to other competitors, e.g restaurants or car dealerships . Locating close to complimentary businesses, is this good for your business? Working together rather than competition . Is the location just genuinely unsafe? Is there street lights, etc

I think online advertising and Facebook can do wonders I’ve seen 2 coffee shops within 1/2 mile of each other and they do very good it’s definitely not very visible and I’ve seen tourists go there as well
