I noticed that you had 1 oz on your front and 2 oz on the back but said you shoot more weight? I have the same set up on my V3X. Question...does the weight of stabaliser end cap count? And if so how much do they weigh? I have yet to find the ideal set up on mine, I've tried so many different combinations.

@goHunt I'm going to echo Austin Smathers, what bino harness is that? It looks like you've got your LRF in a pouch on the right. I've been shopping for a bino harness and though that adding a pouch on the right would interfere with my draw stroke. I'd like to know your thoughts.

I've been playing with stabilizer placement on my PSE Brute force. I have read a past post on the science of front and back bars but have not seen anything on placement. I have a 10 inch front and 8 inch back bar. I have my back bar mounted at the same height as my front bar, but as im watching this video and in most other videos, the back bar is mounted lower on the riser. Is there a preferred placement of the back bar? Do you get more stability when it's mounted lower on the riser than at the same level as the front stabilizer?

So I have a cheaper Bear package bow and was wanting to replace the “Stabilizer” (more like add one) But I was looking at buying a bee stinger sport hunter extreme 8” for treestand I would think its more compact. I don’t necessarily want to add the bulk and don’t really wanna spend the money on a sidebar set up. Do you think buying a 10 degree quick disconnect would help with my setup and would it be necessary?

Great vid once again! I'm shooting about the same on my bow! Btw....what is the brand of your bino harness again???? Looks nice! Front flip I believe on its hood!!!!

The Outdoor Vision Ridgeline and Sightline Rangefinder pouch. It is indeed a front flip, which is a must for a bow hunter in my opinion. shop.gohunt.com/products/outdoor-vision-ridgetop-binocular-harness?_pos=2&_sid=2e3943bcc&_ss=r

Trail, what kind of hand sling is that you’re using on your bow hand?
@GOHUNT4 жыл бұрын
It is a finger sling. Goes around your fingers instead of your wrist. You can check it out here: shop.gohunt.com/collections/archery/products/aae-super-sling-finger-sling

I've always ran a three once or nothing on the front, my sight picture is always low canted left. Can you run a back bar only. By the way ya'lls maps are awesome.

Is a back bar still worth it even if you shoot without a quiver on?
@edwardrichard2561 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely. A quiver has nothing to do with a side bar.
@lxthao073 жыл бұрын
I’ve noticed when it comes to side stabilizer, the length is usually shorter than the front stabilizer. Is there a benefit to having a shorter stabilizer for the side compare to running the same length for the front and side stabilizer?

How do you attach it to a pack with the back bar? do you trust that the bolts are strong enough to hold the correct position or do you disconnect them?
@GOHUNT4 жыл бұрын
For the most part, Trail prefers to carry his bow in his hands while on a hunt. But If he were to attach it to his bag the bolts should be strong enough to hold, but it can be an awkward position sometimes, so disconnecting the rear stabilizer is a great option.

Q: how to choose a stabiliser A: get a quivalizer 5 second video
@tommypeloe235 жыл бұрын
Quiverlizers are great but I have found they aren't friendly for shorter bows. For a quiverlizer on say a 32 or 33 inch bow is perfect.

I couldn’t imagine hunting out of a saddle with a 12 inch stabilizer and 15inch back bar geeesh
@trailkreitzer91635 жыл бұрын
Hunting horseback with bars that long is not ideal, which is why I use the quick disconnects on the front and back. I take them off and stick them in the top lid of my pack if I'm horseback. Again, might not be a good fit for everyone but there is no doubt that I am more accurate with this setup.

thought he said 12" front and 10" back
@trailkreitzer91635 жыл бұрын
I likely noted both. I hunted with a Traverse this past fall with a 15" / 12" set but have been shooting 12" / 10" recently

Been shooting for 48 plus years and this is all unnecessary weight if you ask me. Try just relaxing at full draw and learn muscle control and mental mechanics, and you won't need to buggerlug all that weight and something to go wrong while you're in that aultement shot.
