Now, you know it's up to you whether or not you want to just do the bare minimum. Or... well, like Joe, for example, has thirty seven pieces of flair, okay.

It’s used in cases of leveling off a floor to an existing floor without having to throw down extra wood on the subfloor close though .

I'm 69 years old, went to Home Depot, found some backer-board. put it on a cart. Took it over to the cutting area. I asked the young man if he would cut this board in half. He just popped off & said, no one in this store could cut it. I said what do you mean? He said we are not allowed to cut backer-board. I still bought it, took it outside and borrowed a razor knife, scored it and broke it in half so I could get it in my car. Bad customer service!!! It would have taken 2 minutes!! Next time I will go to Lowes !!

Have you eve picked up a whole piece of concrete backer board? Can you read? 1) I'm almost 70 years old, but you probably being a millennial, you never heard of being courteous to seniors. 2) The attendant was rude and 3) Why couldn't a 25 year old attendant score and break it for me?

Same thing happened to me..i don't get it either. But It's the store policy.. don't take it personal. Call corporate. The young man could loose his job if he cuts it..

Home Depot will take your money knowing nobody's going to show up to your house at for at least two months. They also sub all their work and flooring through another contractor and the price for the people doing the work is cut in half that way and you end up with the bottom of the Barrel subcontractors in your house and that's what Home Depot has people think when they're calling Home Depot because they're paying the top dollar that they're about to get top dollar installation and they're getting Bottom Dollar installation because no they're not paying anything whatsoever. Home Depot is a trash a company and if I were you I wouldn't I would buy a products but having work done through them they'll take your money sit on it and laugh at your face. When it's said and done the people doing the work at your house probably get 30% of the labor and that's it while providing all of the tools and everything necessary to do the job. And also if you get work done through Home Depot, nine times out of 10 you won't be able to talk to the person doing the work unless you know Spanish and that's a fact

Lowe's also subcontracts out their installations. Because of the sheer number of installations they do and the stores' turnaround requirements, the installers are working full-tilt all day every day, no time to deal properly with the unexpected, no time to go the extra mile (or even the minimum mile in some cases, I would guess.) And you probably are paying a premium to have the store organize it for you and shoulder the liability of any problems. If you find your own installer, you can pick one who makes their own schedule and has time to focus on YOUR project properly--but, of course, at the risk of you picking a sketchy or cheap one who messes up and leaves you with the mess.
