How much psi in this floor?

Hi, we recommend 7-.10 psi. It will handle 15 psi, however going a bit lower allows for the air to expand if exposed to prolonged sun or warm temps without compromising the integrity of the Airfloor.

Perhaps a ‘touch more’ is different for different people. When you get the hang of the aluminum it’s actually quicker than the Airfloor. On a small floor like in the video, it’s only a touch heavier? On a larger floor, it’s going to be a bigger difference.

What is considered to be a "larger" engine?

On the smaller models up to size LX 360, more than 10hp is considered larger engine for those models. On the new PRO V airfloors, it depends on the boat, but 30hp is considered a larger outboard

I was told that the air floor model boat will not support an aluminum floor, but an aluminum floor model boat will support an air floor

Believe me, aluminum decking is a pain in the back. You just have to keep the boat as light as possibble when you are beaching the boat or up the ramp, even if you have good quality large transom wheels. go with the aluminum floor: 1) if you really really need that extra rigidity, extra engine power 2) if you can always get help during beaching, or if you have a car & trailer.

they can be tricky at first, make sure you're on a flat surface when installing the stringers :)

Love the idea of the air floor. One of the biggest problems for me is putting in the runners/stringers on my 380pro. It's near impossible solo. I have been trying to come up with a solution. Maybe it's the pronseries as it is more rigid with the extra padding.

sometimes it helps using an oar underneath to give it a flat surface and bait of dish soap in the stringer :)

@@EbbWeaver there is a certain technique that works very well. If you pull hard on the lifeline, while pushing on lower edge of stringer, using a push and turn technique, it works very well. I believe we have another video on this exact procedure.

@@StrykerInflatableBoats I've watched all of your vids including that one. I love my Stryker 100% but boy does that look easy when you do it on the LX360. I've had a very difficult time with the 380Pro. But maybe my technique could use some work I'll try the soap also. Thank you very much for your response again. Gives me some renewed vigor facing that task.

Hi, the Airfloor option is only available on up to a 360. We do carry the ofd Airfloor for existing owners of 380’s who want the option to go as light as possible. Performance decreases with Airfloor when you get above 380, do we aren’t comfortable having an Airfloor specific model that size. 😎⚓️
