A much easier way to set the 3D cursor in your workflow is to hold the shift key and then right click where you want your cursor to be in your current view. It will backwards project the 3D position onto the correct surface/object.

Great video! Here's a tip: You can just set the 3d-cursor with shift+right-click. It will set it on the surface of whatever you click. The way you do it is a great way to get the cursor into a very precise location, but for this kind of thing I think shift+right-click will be good enough and save a lot of time. Again, thanks for the vid!

Well, I'm more like coming from Blender / 3D. I began there, because I didn't wanna think about perspective, colors, light and stuff (it's generated for you when rendering). But with this series, you are opening the world a little bit for me for 2D. I really love the connection between them. I always liked these 2D shows on TV, when they have some 3D elements (camera movement). Family Guy does this pretty often these days, but also Gravity Falls.

🤯🤯🤯 So many awesome things about color thanks! Side note: as sculptor never felt right the division between 2d-3d disciplines though is neccessary for geometric use and understanding, 2d is a pure abstract idea while 3d is like behind the nature of any production, as very well you explain with colour & light. Cheers
