Once their philosophy and style suits you, you will never ever think abt exiting that fund irrespective of exp ratio, churn, ranking, etc

That's a good question. In a non-AMC SIP you can modify, pause or step up your SIPs at any time. In this case a broker (like Zerodha) will place the order. An AMC SIP cannot be modified, paused or stepped up. In other words it's not that flexible as a non-AMC SIP. Also, in AMC SIP, the minimum investment amount is decided by the AMC and you directly deal with the fund house and no broker is involved.
