Hey Kris. Listen this video is so important. I’ve been on this journey since 2020 and this year is the first time I’m planning my savings for 2025. This is the first time I’m figuring out which challenges I will be doing what I will be saving for and what my goal amounts are. I don’t know if anyone has ever put out a video like this before. But I believe this is something that every new person that starts to budget should hear. Because all they see are saving challenges and don’t understand the basics. For me I had to step back for a minute from so many videos so that I could focus on what is best for me and my family for 2025. I definitely plan on sharing this video and mentioning it on my channel. Thank you for doing this video

That's really helpful for me, thanks. I recognise myself as one of those savers who has many savings challenges to hand, which causes confusion and disorganisation as I continually chop and change as I rummage my way through them. So, I am going to start off with my emergency fund and get that totally nailed. You make things seem so simple, clear, and orderly. Then, they become do-able!

im looking forward to saving big time in 2025. i am saving for retirement. its early but i want cash on hand that will grow in my HYSA as the years go on. some will also go into my personal brokerage account. my goal is 20k-30k by the end of 2025. i havent done savings challenges regularly before, but i am getting a couple savings challenge books/binders for christmas. i tried "mini mondays" but i didnt like it. i prefer longer term/higher amount savings challenges. i know for sure i am doing the 100 envelope challenge. i have a few smaller like save $1 for 30 days but i am going to be multiplying that. unless i only fill them out when i have an extra dollar or 2 after my other challenges are played through that week. it may take me longer to finish challenges that way, but ill feel better finishing a $500 couple month challenge than i would finishing 20 $30 challenges really fast. thats just me though, everyone is different! either way were all on the same money saving train! 2025 is gonna be OUR YEAR!
