How do you use the gold multi strand clasp ? I have a clasp that looks like that and I’m having a hard time finding a video on how it attaches to pieces
@FireMountainGems2 ай бұрын
Hello! We do not have a video on this specific clasp, but here is how to use it: Start by making a crimped end on a piece of Accuflex (no loop). Thread through one of the holes so the crimp sits inside the clasp. Thread on beads. Thread the end through the corresponding hole on the opposite side of the clasp, crimp the end. on the opposite side of the hole so its inside the clasp. Repeat for the remaining two holes. Alternatively, one could crimp a long piece of Accuflex, thread it through the end-most hole so the crimp sits inside the clasp, thread on beads, thread through the corresponding opposite hole then back through the middle hole, thread on beads, thread through the corresponding opposite hole, back through the other end-most hole, thread on beads, then crimp in the opposite end hole. so you only end up having to crimp twice. Hope this helps. Thanks!

What kind of clasp would you use for a gold metal chord necklace?
@FireMountainGems Жыл бұрын
It would depend on the size of the stringing material. If you were using something like gold Accu-Flex beading wire, you could use an Accu-Guard on each side to create the finished loops and then add jump rings for any kind of clasp. My personal preference would be the gold-filled lobster claw clasp, but we have a variety of gold clasps on our website: www.firemountaingems.com/search/gold-clasps Hope this helps!

What would you suggest for a clasp for a hemp necklace. I dont want to do the bead and loop... its too bulky and I want a more polished looked... but I can't figure out what would work best
