I'd also recommend keeping a backup hard drive on hand for when the one in your NVR fails. You don't want to have your NVR down waiting on a new hard drive.

I only have 2 cameras that I had a Security Company installed on my home that it's a city, so now I need a backup to go with my hard drive, my hard drive is 1TB. 2 years of research on these professional cameras & NVR that I had to learn. What kind of back up do you recommend!!!!!

Looking for some guidance I have three cameras (Zumimall) it has sd storage. I don't want to pay for cloud service, is it possible to buy a dvr/nvr for these cameras? (for storage?)

Zumimall is not a mainstream Brand. Its likely you will have a hard time finding any advice using these cameras other than from the supplier. We would recommend following their guidance. Sorry we could not be more help.

That's the problem, Zumimall is such a small, off brand, there are no other options for compatibility. This is the downside with low cost off brands, I'm guessing the location you purchased from does not provide support, but I would give them a try anyway and see if they can help. Sorry, thanks
