Thanks as always, Rick, for being one of the few people truly tapped into what is going on and for providing such poignant words on what the reality of our current world is like. As someone who may or may not have spent this week outside the convention this was a great way to cap off the week. Those inside the United Center are living in a very different world than those outside. Even more horrifying is those outside a one mile radius of that arena, for them this was just another week in August, Oblivious to realities of their government's actions, even as helicopters circle overhead and sirens blare down Ashland Ave, they are kept in the dark sedated by the lies of politicians, journalists, and clerics.

Hi Rick: Thank you for making videos talking about Gauze and Palace Stein. My husband and I have been watching your videos here in Illinois. I am deeply disturbed by what is happening in Gauze and it was so validating (for a lack of a better word) for me yesterday to hear you say: I am depressed so I make these videos or something along the lines. I cried to sleep last night. Your videos had a powerful effect on me. Somehow it did not register that I have been depressed too watching the live streamed genocide in Gauze since 10+ months. It is easy to feel numb, you know. I also go on instagram and make videos where I rant. Just came here to say: thank you and I relate to you, and both of us (my hubby) and I love your rants, and he loves your book(s) too. Take care. Sending love and hugs.

Thanks for letting me know. I tend to be pessimistic philosophically, and so reject most consolations, but in this case I think the suffering radiates, arriving to people far from Gaza in the form of something like ennui that sticks like a rash and spreads--which may be just another way to say that dehumanization is contagious.
