For me, when you entered form 4, there's no thing such as first class or second class anymore. It's just like a different course class just like the college or university but the people's mentality always said that the science class is the first class just because most of the smartass kids were in that class. The teachers always have higher expectations, so much pressure to endure. However, not all of the pure science stream kids are clever. Some of them are just worse than kids from other streams. I said what I said. Think about it thoroughly and never be afraid to change your stream. Make sure that your decision won't make you regret by the end of the day.

this is so true. When i was form 4, my counselor put me in art class and he never kutuk ke caci or whatever because for him, every class is same. Its only me who wanted to change class haha but alhamdulillah i didnt make it. :) No kelas atas or kelas bawah anymore.

Its not that if you are in art stream you can't get in good universities ,whatever stream you choose you must make sure that you like it and you work hard on it. As long as you work hard in the stream you chose you will always have the chance to get in a good university . To improve in math you really need to do a lot of exercises and familiar yourself with the subject and have confidence in yourself ,you still have a year and more it is never too late to start improving. And there will be a lot of times where you will work very hard and still fail the subject, you can't let that affect you always believe you still have the time.

Im taking science account right now (drop bio). After 2 months, hmm i dunt think i can handle those subjects like addmaths, physics. Chemis so far, not bad. Your story kinda same like me. I was in science stream class because of my PT3 result and because my parents want me to follow my sister's path.(lah sangat) So I just go with the flow lah. But the thing is I really really really love Biology BUT! I'm very lazy at studying it. Always sleep during Bio class. (Sis bercita-cita nak jadi Pharmacist kut). Sampaikan result SPM i Addmath lagi tinggi dari Bio. (I'm not gonna tell my Bio result because u might think that I'm annoying and tak bersyukur). And then I sambung belajar dekat Kolej Matrikulasi Labuan for a year and took Modul 2. And now I'm a 2nd year university student and took engineering course. Ok I tak pernah terfikir pun nak ambil course ni. Ambil ni pun sebab my parents. Susah yes memang susah. Tapi percayalah, bila kau buat sesuatu untuk parents kau Allah akan permudahkan semuanya. Learning science stream in English was really hard for me at first as I learned in bahasa melayu in my previous school. But as time passes, I realised I could make it happen and I always score high mark. The only problem is I'm lazy sometimes huhu,. I was in science stream, but funny enough I enjoyed bio and chemistry but HATED add maths and physics. In SPM I got Cs for those two, but 8As for the rest hahahaha. Also I took perakaunan on top of my science subjects and enjoyed it so much! I think exploring different subjects should be the norm after form 3, there should not be a this way or the other way - students should be given choice to find their strength and passions

Two main problems that we always faced when choosing streams: 1) Parents 2) Friends My parents actually wanted me to study science stream because of all the stereotypes that SC stream is better than other streams. To F3 with parents that force you to enter SC stream, please always remember to take the stream you like. Talk it out with your parents. I talked to my parents the night before PT3 results day. Try to communicate because if you don’t talk it out with your parents, YOU are going to suffer. I decided to take Acc because I thought it will not be as stressful as Sc but guess what, I ended up liking Acc. I never regretted my choice with choosing Acc except when the school always prioritise Sc stream. Next, don’t ever follow your friend. Your friend enter Sc, okay let’s enter Sc. Please don’t. You are just going to suffer with the subjects. Do the subjects you like, whether it be in Sc stream or Art stream. I chose Acc even when all of my other friends enter Sc. Was I scared when I entered class on the first day of F4? Yeah, I was scared from head to toes. But this is my choice, I chose Acc so I try to make friends with the people in my class. And now, I know some people from Sc stream and people from Acc stream. Don’t be scared to make friends, there will also be people who are like you with no friends in this stream. Ending: Choose what you desire. You only have two years left in school. Don’t listen to stereotypes and just take the subjects you like. Because at the end of the day, if you chose a stream you don’t like, YOU are going to suffer, not your parents and not your friends. - Form 5 class of 2020 or 2021 (idk)

Same here hey, my parents always have this stupid stereotype that science is better than arts stream, and in their eyes, it science stream is good to them and they always tried to engage me which it terribly foiled, because I'm not interested in science at all. When the application form came, they secretly changed my first option to science stream and they decided to hand in to my school's guardhouse by themselves. That time my first option is science (without bio) and arts stream without addmaths. Then I got pure science in the end which I flipped terribly, I tried to talk to them but we always get into an argument, so one day when the form for tukar class came, I don't give a shit on them and seceretly changed to computer science, but it terribly backfired as I was rejected due to the fact that the intake is full(computer science in our school take maximum 12 students as there are alot of projects and the teachers needed to pay alot of attention) . Dang it, now I'm suffering bio and addmaths, addmaths is an insanity for me already, now there are more subjects that made me insane, I'm okay with chemistry because I liked balancing equation, physics form 4 I'm okay, form 5,nah... Right now, I'm targeting for my spm results to meet the form 6 minimum requirement, which is a credit in BM(I aim for A) and pass in sejarah (I aim for A in sejarah too) and top 3 subjects marks cannot be more than 12,whuch its okay to me, just pass all the science subjects and addmaths and I'm good to go. I plan to study English literature in form 6,my dad is okay with what I planned now due to my BM teacher supporting me to study language field, so thank God bro! PS I heard from my teacher than you may pass your addmath in spm if you get more than 20, nice for me! I got 32 in my previous addmath exam, though I still got an earful from my parents because I failed in general, but I don't really care because I passed I reality I wish you all luck in your SPM if you're a 05 batch like me

I'm kinda late to this but here's my advice. As for me, going to science stream form 4 & form 5, changing to art stream at form 6 really shows its difference. I study almost every day till midnight like 3-4 am when I'm in science stream thus I'm really stressed back then. However, it's not that art stream is easy but for me, it's easier compared to science stream. Here's a quick advice, if you really have a dream ambition and it involved science stream, go ahead but if you're clueless like me, try science stream for 2 exams(until the mid-term). If you're result is all c to F, try and change it to art stream, it already proof you're not suitable for science. Hope this helped 🥰

@@hynx2935 from my experience, it is easier in art stream compare to science stream in terms of the subject taken. I think that science stream requires a lot of memorization of scientific terms which makes me difficult but for art stream, there's still some memorization but it is easier to memorize since there's not much of memorization needed. When I'm in science stream , I used to sleep around 4-5 am but when I changed to art stream, I sleep better, less stress and there's less competitive among my peers compared to science stream

I wont have pt3 since covid stuff but i still doesn't know what aliran to take. Everytime i have the personality test(?) i always get high like artistik but i dont really want to learn art cuz like i want to be free when im drawing sumthing and i dont like memorizing stuffs. I kinda want to take business but the teachers say that "bisnes susah" and stuffs. But i feel like the possibilities of all those possibilities being possible is just another possibilities that could possible happen :>

Yup, exactly. Aq pun x tau aliran apa utk aq ambik. I rly want to take aliran seni, sbb my maths and science are bad lmao. But, my ambition is to become a language translator and I actually learn Japanese for 3 years at school now. I've decided to continue my Japanese until SPM. After that, I may continue learning it masa kat university. But up until this day, I'm not sure if I can masuk aliran seni even though my ambition is language related..... :(

i'm from the 06 batch (and kssm kid unfortunately :') ) and couldn't really ask anyone for advice on entering art stream since everyone around me either graduated from science stream or dropped out from secondary school, plus the counselors at my current school are admittedly not the best at giving advice (they'd convince you to either join science stream or crush your self-esteem under their heels LMAO), so this video definitely helped a ton!! thanks so much, lots of love from johor

uyy same 06 batch jugak ! :D which stream did u choose ? nak cite sikit aa alkisah yang terjadi masa bulan 3 haritu(sblum bukak skolah) . tbh memang i want to join art stream and my mom pon kata boleh kalau nak masuk art stream. astu haritu cikgu bagi la link google form for all form4 students(batch 06) , for us to choose which stream we want la en. and obviously i choose art stream la cause i suka lukis lukis walaupun karyaku tidak begitu cantikk . plus kelas yang i choose ni ada subjek sains komputer + reka cipta and i waktu f1 f2 n f3 dulu pon memang belajar sains komputer so why not la i choose that class en. astu ada suatu ketika tu cikgu kaunselor kate nak buat gm for bagi penerangan la about aliran ni(but mostly cikgu cakap kelebihan science stream je, sedih akuu :'(( ) . astu ntah camne ku terhasut dari ceramah cikgu tu huhu. so i ask my caunselor teacher la boleh ke kalau nak tukar nak msuk science stream and she said yes . bila i tried to do physics exercises yang cikgu bagi en, ya allah. berlinang air mata weyh . ttibe regret mintak tukar kelas huhu. tapi nasib baik la cikgu tu bagi masuk kelas seni balik , kalau tak merana dah :').

Kenak lah lambat gilak dina tok muncul 😭 I’ve suffered in my SEMI SCIENCE stream last time. I got nyawa nyawa ikan for my physics, addmaths and chemistry and I regret my decision alot for staying. I should’ve listened to myself before, but at that time semua org mcm noo dont move to art side, you’ll get better over time. But no, sikda jiwa lgsg masa study science subjects. So i ended up with bad results for that 3 subjects 😖 I knew i can do better if i take art stream, but just because of that mind set, “dah masuk science kenak lah mok tukar art? Syg eh.” That gai mind set made my spm result jaik 😢

I take science stream, but also take arts. So far I enjoy it a lot although I need to go home a little late because I'm taking arts ALONE. I need to study alone, but it is less stressing because the teachers aren't really pressuring ❤

i saw this video of yours earlier this year, and made up my mind to change to art stream but unfortunately my teacher told me to sit for one exam first just to see if i can cope with science stream. but PKP happened so i couldn’t change my stream and when i came back to school last week my teacher rejected my letter saying it’s too late :( i’m so sad and unmotivated, i really don’t wanna stay in this stream

@@hawa6452 my school offers four different classes in stem and each class has their own electives (e.g class 1 takes physics, bio, chem, addmath / class 2 takes bio, chem, acc, addmath) and my previous class was the pure science stream. sadly i couldn’t change to art stream since my principal refused to sign the approval letter LMAO but i did managed to change to another class in stem that offers computer science instead of the three science subjects! i was really happy and the workload was way more tolerable than when i was in pure science class. but don’t let my experience scare you. i never planned to further my studies in stem, that’s why i dared to drop my science subjects but if you are planning to major in anything science related then the best option is to take aliran sains! what is your ambition, how well did you coped with math and science in lower form, etc these are the questions you can ponder on while deciding. if your school lets you change stream then you should definitely try for science stream first to see how well you can adapt/adjust. all the best to you~

​@@luna-di3wr i see, glad to know that u were doing well in the new class! last month i couldnt decide to take stem or acc but thankfully i talked with my brother and he helped me throughout the process of deciding. ur advice helped me a lot too, so thanks for that! in the end, i chose acc + eko + addmath class since my science result for pat is pretty bad and im not planning to major in science related too. though im gonna be pretty much alone there since all of my close friends chose other classes ahah. but ill try my best to fit in with the new crowd ^--^

Bila dh masuk uni, looking back, its very immature of me to believe the stereotype of the sc/art students. and school didnt help either to kill the stereotype. Yela, faham, science stream considered to be harder than art. and kalau boleh school dont want students ramai² tukar aliran senang² je since goverment nk more science student ratio than art. but still. education system kita ade pros and cons. pros dia many science kids is produce which helps in developing country which focus on industrial 4.0. but the cons is tula, budak ade yg x minat. tpi takut nk tukar stream sbb all those stereotypes. pastu dh masuk uni, kinda regret asal la aku amik sc stream, skrg aku kena amik engineering kt uni. As much as I support gov, Its also important to give the freedom to people to decide their stream. not fair. but theres silver lining.

Hii, I’m in form 4 now (year 2020) yess next year 2021 is spm year for my batch. So basically I’m in science stream class because when I was form 3 My mom ask me like what I want to be when I grow up like what is my dream... I have no idea at all what I want to do , literally nothing. soo when the result is out , my result is just okay u know “okay result” HAHAH but what can I do I studied really hard but the result is just okay so I really disappointed with myself but I told is okay I tried my best my very best. SO WHEN I hv to like choose what class I want I “literally still have no idea what I want to study for my future” anddd what my mom told me is that if I donno what I want to be I should take science and yes I got into science class because my math n science is B so they still pick me. Now I’m form4 and it’s almost at the end of the year , I realised this thing when It is may or June I guess.. I realised that i really love dancing, I like choreographing a new dance , I mean I love it so much. I enjoyed it. And I think I should take art stream.😔but its okay when I think about it again, I must study hard for this subject that I’m taking and I can resume the things I want to do when I enter uni or college 🤩👍🏻. So yeah that’s my story

dina ok here's my story my school has 11 classes (ikr) and im in the 6th class during form 1-3. now im in the sci stream and they treat me differently. i tengah considerate if i should tukar class or not. i want to move bcs my psikometrik results are showing im an art person. i don't have any problem w sci stream but its just the environment..... im so not used to this bcs my last classmates were so supportive and nice. id like to move to art stream but. I HATE GEOGRAPHY SOOOO MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so in your opinion should i change and have better studying environment? hope u see this dina

Me too🤧 I got aliran ekonomi this year and hv added subject which is geography (I DONT LIKE LAH😭) I still thinking hard if I change it to account stream because my math result is better than geo💆🏻‍♀️. tbh its also really depends on your school. Like, for me, i was put in science stream then decided to change to art stream bc i really like arts. but the teachers are very biased and the most of the students are noisy and they arent even interested in arts. even in subjek teras the class would be about one chapter late than science stream class ( which means they are treating differently and sometimes the teachers barely teach) . im now changing back to science stream and taking arts as an extra subjek but i dont know if my rayuan will be approved or not. wish me luck

I donno why i dont even get that ujian psikometrik.. but from my pt3 result i was chosen to be in SC stream.. and my Guru Pen. Kanan HEM give chances for those who want to change to other stream .. at first , i think im gonna be ok at my SC stream.. but in the middle of year like that idk why .. i think that im actually really like subjek kira² like maths and addmaths.. i should take Perakauan .. i never get A for my science subject since i year 4!! until pt3 i never get A in science .. then , just realise that sc stream is not completely suits me... until now fizik , biology and chemistry i got them all Failed😭.. i still in sc stream.. We have to choose either one of them. Too late😔 , im in my form 5 this year and my school only allow us to take extra subject or change class before ujian bulanan satu..i memang minat art but at the same time i love biology as well but i realized that i was having a hard time with the other science stream subject (i still considered as average but it still tough for me)when the time passes by and now i feel bad for not taking art stream but at the same time my mom might disagree with my choice if i were to choose art stream
