A naïve explanation, half of the video was just abt weather and the other half about cost of living. Do you really think that all this basic stuff you talked about were not known to most of the people and that too before even applying to US? EDIT: Just found the answers needed at US News portal with stats supporting it.

Finally found a channel dedicated to Civil Engg opportunities in the US. Really like your content. ❤️ Btw, I recieved an admit from UC Berkeley to thier MS program in Structural Engineering Mechanics and Materials for Fall 2021. At the same time I'm awaiting decision from TU Deft (in the Netherlands) for MS in Structural Engineering. I am having a hard time deciding between the two, given the following points: TU Delft QS rank in civil engg: #2 UCB QS rank in civil engg: #3 UCB costs twice as much as TU Delft. But ROI maybe more from UC Berkeley. Could you kindly provide your insight to help me decide? Thanks a lot in advance!
@ImmigrantTalks3 жыл бұрын
I may be biased, but I would go to Berkeley any day. One of the best research labs in the world, and Mecca of civil engineering. World class professors. Good luck. Netherlands May offer better quality of life and easier immigration. Decide where you see yourself for next 10 to 15 years. If you had a choice just to visit both countries where would you go first?
@burhanhassan98053 жыл бұрын
@@ImmigrantTalksThanks for your feedback. I too am leaning towards Berkeley. One more thing I wanted to ask: Berkeley offers MS in 1 year if I go for non thesis. And in 2 years if I go for thesis. In order for the Masters degree to be valid in India, it needs to be 2 years, i.e Thesis option. Would there by any issues in getting an internship or job after pursuing a thesis based Master's? (Even though in thesis based I'd be studying the same core subjects as in non thesis)
@ImmigrantTalks3 жыл бұрын
Go for non thesis. Yes Berkeley is fast. You will find a job after Berkeley most probably. It’s a top school.
